Who are these MMA? I don't live in Pakistan so I don' t know much about them. What sect are they? They seem like those religous police retards in saudi arabia. that's the last thing pakistan needs. they can take their so called "morality" and shove it up thier hairy brown asses.

I was pointing out the fallacy where someone suggested that its somehow’s govt fault that these people want to have parties.
There is vice already in the society. I dont see how someone having fun at the beach can spread vice in the society. Its not that dramatic, you see. If someone doesnt like them, dont join them, look away, go to the next portion of the beach and eat your samosay

Faisal bhai there was too much of an OVERWHELMING majority in NWFP and the results could not be doctored to a 180 degree turn. Its true that Amreeka is the one who decided which govt comes to power in Pak and which govt goes.

My brother who is in Punjab Police tells me first hand about the stuff that goes on in the Police department, and you will be surprised to hear the stories.
The same is the story with Sindh Police and police of other provinces.
Which court is free of pressure from powerful civilians?
What LAW are we talking about? People change the laws everyday to suit themselves.
There IS no law. Our society is a free for all, law of the jungle, jis kee laathi us kee bhens. In such a case, nothing can be done thru the legal system.

Its not the govt's fault, but the govt is ALLOWING them innit? Whereas it is the one with the rightful authority to stop them.
See, we both know that Pakistan is not Amreeka, people here don't have the mindset of "Who cares what my neighbor is doing or what's happenning down the street, let me turn a blind eye and do my own thing, as long as my house and my family is safe who cares" Our society is very different, and our religion teaches us to CARE and be responsible about the SOCIETY. IF such things happen openly in society, tomorrow it will indeed affect everyone.

Its true that MMA support is higher in NWFP but indeed MMA enjoys wide support all over Pak. But they had to give MMA the govt of ATLEAST one province to save face, and obviously Sarhad was the obvious choice.

I really doubt the statement that "MMA enjoys wide support all over Pak" because there is no logical way to prove it, except to point to conspiracy theories that someone sitting in a dark corner approves who will rule which part of Pakistan.
And if you think that there is no law in Pakistan, elections are a sham, and you need a vigilante group armed with sticks to enforce their version of Islam on common ppl and fight with police, then tell me, is that the Pakistan we want the world to know?

bibi karachi walay to ro rahay hein ke govt nay MMA ko jitaya. for the first time ever since MQM was formed, they lost some very crucial seats that were always for granted for MQM in the city. if anything, the conspiracy theory is that MMA was given more seats than they deserve (throughout the past 15 years they've been a largely marginal third party with 8 percent seats or so), just so that the Army and Mushie has reason to say that we should remain in power otherwise nukes go to mullas.

Faisal bhai the support for MMA is visible everywhere. Anyone who has exposure to the public life in Pakistan can see it. The popular sympathies in Pakistan are with the MMA.
Faisal bhai who the heck cares about the world and how they perceive us? The only world I care about is the UMMAH. I don't give two aanay what UK/Amreeka/Europe think about Pak b/c they are the ones who are behind the killing of our innocent brothers and sisters and they have never stood for the rights of Muslims. Why are we always so concerned about what they will think? Can't we have more self respct and believe in ourselves? THEY should care what WE think about THEM.
