unbelievably stupid move..........PMLN was under so much under stress for mishandling many issues in last few months....now suddenly IK is news for all wrong reasons and PMLN must be thanking god.....
i mean is there no one in PTI to tell khan that all of his moves in last few weeks are stupid politically.... he has always been blamed as an ISI guy and the way he played cards in last few weeks provides fuel to that theory....IK's timing is simply awful...and now suddenly he is blaming everyone for his defeat...ifthikar ch, jang, geo..why didnt he take their names after elections

In US, projected winners are announced based on verified exit polls. In Pakistan, exit polls are not conducted at all polling stations. Moreover, there is so much pre and post poll rigging that exit polls usually dont mean anything. In other words, if the end result has already been 'agreed upon', then you can engineer the exit poll results to say whatever you want. NS gave his speech on his own, and it was telecast on many channels, but Geo was perhaps the only channel to officially agree with it and declare PMLN as the winner, even though less than 30% of the votes had been officially counted overall. Geo wasnt pro IK. It was pro publicity, and was riding IKs wave....something all media houses do.
Did he complain then? or in the intervening months? No mention in the white paper either. Now suddenly, when ISI is hounding GEO he jumps on the bandwagon and makes this an issue and joins the military's unofficial boycott. Makes you wonder where he is getting his instructions from.

Well he had faced the court for holding the Supreme Court/Iftikhar Chaudary indirectly responsible for allowing rigging, that too at the expense of risking his political position by law. But luckily, that didn't turn out be such sharmnaak episode after all, however, even if you call his current move a force of habit, the timing of it is indeed not right.

Sometimes, I think that asad umar (most likely a technocrat) and javed hashmi are overrated. If only CTBT would throw a BBQ chicken leg to hashmi, then the lad would come running to "my hero, my leader" in an instant.
The real tragedy in all of this is that the youth of pakistan has been debunked and they would lose faith in democracy if things go on like this. The increasing share of youth are the future not the bhudday khosat yapping in talk shows or running the show in pakistan right now.

Errr how is it going to be the 'U step' while military operation already, by default, has been declared the ultimate next step in case of complete failure of negotiations? And btw, targeted strikes had repeatedly taken place in Wazristan during the course of negotiations. How many PTI supporters or Imran himself have opposed those remote operations?

Lets admit it, the stage is really set for the army to come out and say 'negotiations have failed, and we are declaring a full fledged operations'. Nothing new in your post either. You just cannot look beyond Imran and PTI supporters either. If military operation is the next step after the failure of negotiations, then it is the next step, not a flipping U turn. Imran on the record has admitted to this fact.
Army action has been going on during the course of action, and it has faced no criticism whatsoever by the entire civil society, so really your point about 'supporting' or opposing army is all null and void.

whatever salim safi…i dont believe such articles..imran khan is a politician and he met thousands of people in last 25 years …as a public politician it is hard to please everyone…if anything, you cannot blame imran khan for being a selfish person. That is against his character. He may be a bit arrogant at times but he is not a selfish person.

dear Jolie...if IK starts supporting military operations now, it will be a huge U turn....i appreciate your support to IK but you cannot defend everything that he does
having said that, I believe IK will never take such U turn....he will completely loose his credibility.
Only god knows who are his political advisers or maybe he does not listen to anyone. Everything that he is doing right now could have been done few months later. Timing is everything in politics and IK sucks at it....unfortunately.

sir jee if that happens, IK will completely lose his credibility especially among youth. He has already lost a lot of his charm among defense burgers amid his support for taliban. I hope he is not that stupid.
