Mizgaan= Eyelashes

As beautifully said by Ghalib:

Haif= Pity, Afsos

haif us chaar girah kapDe kii qismat Gaalib

Word Goya= Two meanings. Speaking/talking to AND 'Chunachey' /Jaisay

Both are used here in expert manner as in;

Tum Meray paas Hote Ho Goya
jab Koi Doosra Nahin Hota

my mom uses the term “mutakaaf-e-amal” like you and me say what the heck (I mean she uses it that frequently, not in that meaning)..

anytime something bad happens to some one . .she says .. beta, yeah sab mautakaf-e-amal kee nishaaniyaan hain .. and I am like jee ammi bilkul baja irshad farmaya aap ne
