Why is virginity so important in almost every major religion?
For examples, going back 1000s of years Incas and virgins sacrifices. Christianity and virgin birth. Islam and promised virgins in after life. Hinduism?

Because virginity is connected with piousness. one who wanders around (idhar idhar munh marne wale) are not generally considered as trustworthy.

I think it’s inappropriate to refer God this way. However if you persist, answer this question. Do you think common people dont mind marrying a s.l.u.t.?

As for the marriage issue, define what is a $lut? The point that I was making is that it seems like sex is taboo in all major religions, but the question is why? After all, are we not all products of sex?

It's how it is. Pardon me if I sound naive; isn't it true that you would love to go for a zero meter vehicle instead of used one? It goes for all in all such matters, virginity included. Pride is associated with it as well.
Personally speaking, when we talk about virginity, it is a complex world of emotions which comes into action and there are endless questions which can not be answered in simple terms hence we prefer virginity - to avoid discomforts!

The commom. man don't care about such ladies. He only cares that people of ALL faiths AND orientations be treated equally AND with RESPECT.

Religions do talk about sex and its not taboo. In Quran there are verses like about the relationship of husband - wife '“They are clothing for you and you are clothing for them…”. Its also mentioned at various places of Quran that what is basis of human life by referring to semen.
Religion doesn't like illegal relationship (which we can term free sex). I think, no society (whether religious or irreligious) would like to see children whose father is not identified irrespective of how open the society is to freedom of sex.
