that wuld be my mother inlaw ,at times she is my demon who will not rest untill n unless i commit suicide (that i wont)but its really difficult i have no clue what she wants frm me i even tried getting along but nothing works n now i simply gave up .she actually bully me around that my husband cant see i dnt need advice i just wanted to know how many of u out there has a 60 year old bully in the house
Give some examples of how she bullies you. My mother in law and my wife's mother in law ( my mother) are both angels. literally , they both passed away. Mine recently , hers before we were even married.:)

You know, this is a very serious issue - not to be made into a joke. MY mother (my hubbys MIL) is a nasty, bitter lady and if my hubby werent such a patient and caring man then she'd really be able to wreak more havoc upon us. As it is, things are dire when she visits since she goes at me (which, heck I can take it) but she also goes at my middle son to the point that the other 2 boys get upset that "grandma is mean to my brother". So we have her over till things get bad then we send her to my sister where she picks at my sister's hubby to the point that he doesnt want to come home.
Older women develop issues sometimes. I am still in the process of trying to figure out how to deal with this but in the meantime, I cannot subject my family to the abuse she can dish out. And my sis cannot sacrifice her marriage (which is great except for mom) so we each take a week or 2 of her and she goes back and forth like that. UNTIL we figure out a better plan of action, this is how things need to be. No disrespect intended to mothers or to elders, I mean I'd never "toss her out" as some desis want to imply that I do. The thing is....elders deserve respect BUT they also have a responsibility to be DESERVING of it yeah? NO ONE deserves the nasty abuse of an elder for the simple fact that they are the elder.

but this MIL bullying is pretty serious cuz theres a friend of mine the poor girl got maried wen she was 16
her mom got her married cuz her father died so her mom thought that wud be good for her
but when she got married i was in a shock i was like ur freaking 16
but she was young cudnt understand wat was going on she loved that guy alot
i dont know bout the guy cuz i didnt like him from the first sight
anyways at first she was very happy but wen her MIL started to show her true colours she got so depressed and stuff
her hubby is and addict her MIL forces her to do all the chores doesnt let her sit for a min keeps saying ye kar do wo kar do even if theres no need for that
and wen she told her bout her sons addiction she diditn believe her and said really mean things bout her like u have an affair with guys and stuff
she was pretty much hurt and the guy is such a mummy daddy kid he does watever his mom says
so now she wanna get a divorce but still that woman isnt letting her son do that
i dont know wats her problem

u dont understand shes the one who says all the bad things in the world in a way that only i will hear them n then she pretends as she really loves me infront of my husband all day she ll be telling me i have no manners her daughters did this or did that sumtimes it looks like she saying that my mother did not teach me anything n i just cant hear anything about my mother she s not even around
