PML-N rally for Balochs turns into party event

LAHORE - The PML-N protest rally taken out Sunday against Baloachistan carnage and drone attacks turned into political gathering that raised the slogans in the favour of Sharif brothers.
The political hymens sung by the PML-N workers for the applause of their leadership also caused an inordinate delay in the funeral prayers offered for the Baloach leaders.
The people, who joined the Namaz-e-Janaza and protest rally carried out from GPO Chowk to Masjid-e-Shuhda on The Mall to condemn the assassinations of Baloach leaders and drone attacks being carried out by America, cursed the PML-N leaders and workers for praising Nawaz and Shahbaz on the serious occasion. One commented that chanting slogans for glorifying the PML-N leadership had really hurt the sanctity of the event.
Some participants said that it was most condemnable that the local leadership including PML-N Lahore president and MNA Mian Marghoob Ahmed and Minister for Excise and Taxation Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman, who were leading the rally, did not raise any objection over the issue.
Sources in PML-N revealed that PML-N Lahore leadership (president and secretary general) played a role of silent spectators deliberately.
They directed workers in advance to raise slogan for “Live Long Nawaz Sharif”, “Live Long Shahbaz Sharif” to improve their position in the eyes of the central leadership.
The sources informed that although PML-N had planned to carryout protest rallies throughout the province but later it hammered out the consensus that it would be uphill task to get the plan implemented on large scale. Though Nawaz Sharif had given strict directions to put up an impressive show, however, Punjab as well as Lahore leadership besides MPAs only managed to show a poor performance.
Scores of passers-by told The Nation on Sunday that the protest rally was so thin to be counted easily.

Sister, MQM is really against anything that is in favor of Islam and Pakistan. Sometimes I wonder MQM is a Hindu party and its members should walk with trishuls. Balochistan is an oil-rich province of Pakistan and we should do everything to insure that our muslim brothers are happy there.

and sandhu! we must not help our brothers and sisters of balochistan becoz it is an oil rich province, but becoz they are our muslim brothers and sisters and a part of our family and are being seriously ignored by us bcoz of our ignorance. of which our enemy is getting full advantage! :(
Punjab is pakistan,
sindh is pakistan
balochistan is pakistan and sarhad is pakistan
and no one can dare to disintegrate us!

True. Balochistan is in a better situation than they were in United British India. They wanted to be in Pakistan. Many families from Punjab are moving and settling in Balochistan and soon Balochistan will see rapid growth because of Gwadar port- a city which will be Dubai in next 15 years. Obviously RAW and Indians don't want this to happen and they are helping fuel problems in Balochistan.

well sandu! no its today in a worse condition not a better one. afterall injustices are being done by them and we must accept this fact also which is a bitter truth. look at the progress in punjab technologically and compare it with that of sindh, balochistan and nwfp. its very shameful for that we are constantly ignoring our brothers of other provinces

It was their godfather who said '... the Baluchis would not even know what hit them....' and who ordered indiscriminate killing of the leaders which fueled the situation. I think things would get better now that the empty-headed-fist-swinging general is gone.

Godfather? I think not. And even you should be able to tell the difference between someone hiding in the mountains and between those involved in the democratic process like the 3 leaders who were killed.
And you have forgotten, that the Pakistani establishment is the same which tried to subvert Musharraf - it still remains in control through it's right wing proxies.

Don't give me this story again. Mushy was in control for so many years WITH help of establishment. Otherwise, he wont have support post 9/11.

how come you did not want to similarly "help" your "muslims brothers and sisters" on Bangla Desh and instead turned the army loose at them?
