if your hairs tangled

and you comb it…and hair falls out. once hair is untangled no hair falls out…is this normal?

MY HAIR was tangled at the bottom, knots and stuff and it literally produced 15 to 20 hairs everytime i brushed…now once all knots are out, only 1 hair falls once i comb…on my pilow today there were a few, im sure 100 is out. a trichologist ( or watever) says 100-150 is normal…

why do i still fell like im balding..some of you guys suggested few things for hair regorowth..help me

i did apply oil and im taking vitamins now…how long until i notice any difference, or atleast for hair to stop falling.

Re: if your hairs tangled

After I wash my hair, I don't brush/ comb it until it completely dries.

I noticed I won't lose a lot of hair this way and it prevents my hair from breaking! Have you noticed how stretchy your hair strand after washing your hair is and how easily it snaps?!

Re: if your hairs tangled

my hair was wet when i went to slp..is that why it broke and had hair on my pillow?

Re: if your hairs tangled

Lol! I don't think so! Hair falls a lot anyway! I am always finding hair on my pillow! Just drink lots of water and eat fruits/ veggies.

Re: if your hairs tangled

.. hey guys u can use a detangler - or alternatively always condition ur hair with an appropriate hair conditioner which should ease u when combing;)

Re: if your hairs tangled

^ Lol jokas....nadz123 just try not to comb ur hair while its wet, but its completely normal to lose a few hairs when trying to detangle them.

Re: if your hairs tangled

Guys please kindly stick to the topic. I've had to remove 12 posts from here.

Thanks

Re: if your hairs tangled

try Livon, or something like that

Yeah, a good conditioner will make a lot of difference...

Re: if your hairs tangled

yeah dont comb your hair when it is wet! big no no there! hair breaks so easily.

condition hair which will help detangle hair. also when hair is dry or 70% dry then comb it...starting from bottom working your way top!

Re: if your hairs tangled

i brush right after getting out of the shower ... i find it way easier ... i dont have any tangles then ... no tugging ... smoth as butter ... it does break if i have to comb dry hair ... so i really dont know what people are talking about when they say dont comb wet hair ...

Re: if your hairs tangled

try mixing a bit of vinegar in ur shampoo hair wont even get tangled! tried and tested it cleans my hair so good and they r so smooth i can get my fingers through them even after rubbign them liek crazies while washing.

Nadz, you are too impatient. Just wait for a while and those vitamins that you're taking will do their job INSHALLAH.

Until then, as others suggested, don't comb your hair when it's wet. Let them dry first and then you can detangle them using a wide-toothed comb.

  • Use a good conditioner but use it only on tips and never on your scalp.
  • Oil your hair regularly
  • When your hair is damp, use a good hair serum, again on your tips only, to seal the moisture in.
  • Most importantly, STOP STRESSING. Stress can make your hair fall abnormally.

If your hair ends are dry, you can get an inch or two of them chopped off.

Re: if your hairs tangled

DONOT EVER EVER EVER brush your hairs when they are wet!!!! you cant cause them any more damage than this

and for any treatment you should give a months time ATLEAST!! *learned from personal experience

I use conditioner and when my hair is is handtowel dry than I always brush it because I got thick hair, and when it is dry I can't brush it and can't do anything with it.
