Thank you for trying to bring decorum to the thread, some people have behavioral challenges towards learning. Huge egoes and inability to connect actions and choices to consequences, he has been told many a times, he is very skilled in his profession and work also offered him counselling but he refused. Sometimes if you try to guide people they get very offended.
At work we are required to mentor juniors as long as they bring a good attitude towards learning, we are required to not waste any time on uncoachable employees.
He is in his 40s now, if he was willing to change his ways he would have done it by now.
