No I haven’t Ansoon, but I am not trying to put myself in their shoes either and judging them if they do happen to get disillusioned. If they don’t feel anger, good for them; but that would probably mean they are robots, not emotional human beings.

infact its a time for us to open our eyes.ALLAH send such destruction when we go far away from HIM.its a time for us to think that why its happened with us? couz we forget our values our purpose of life.we r muslims but just by name.the other religion people r better than us couz they have a strong faith on their religion.why that question raised in our mind that we go away from GOD after this disaster.no, its time to come closer to HIM n tell HIM that we r ur obedient.yes we understahd why u did this with us.now we will take a view on ourselves n show u that we r the "UMAT" of ur HOLY PROPHET.n we will pass away very patiencely from ur "IMTHAN"couz ALLAH always take "IMTHAN" of HIS good people. n yes we r ALLAH'S only ALLAH'S obedient people.

Most of the victims are children so how far did these children go from Allah to cause this disaster???
Why dont these diasasters occur in other countries where people are further away from Allah as compared to us?
Other religions do not have a stronger faith than us.. there are more practising muslims when compared to practising christians, hindus, sikhs, etc etc
Ok I agree with one member when he said “we are allahs amaanat and we have to return to him” but what i dont agree with is its allahs way of giving us punishment for going away from him. it does not make sense as loads of childrens are the victims. ..

because the indian plate is pushing against the pakistan plate leading to a build up of energy that got released in the form of an Earth Quake. I dont believe Allah did it for a reason such as to teach everyone a lesson

Simplymanwa, you can call this earthquake as a "sign" of Allah, but you can't claim that it was a "punishment" for drifting away from Islam. It is always good to introspect and we should read all Signs from Allah swt but its only HIM who knows whether it was a punishment of our "crimes" or test or simply fulfillment of of Hadith (natural disaster will occur more frequently) for the 'doomsday'.

Why blame Allah mian for earth quakes? Did he tell you to build your cities on the top of seismic fault lines? Did he tell you build substandrd buildings with no earth quake consideration? Earth quake and the deaths that they cause are a purely physical phenomenon, although I do sympathise with the people who lost their friends and families.

When i lost a family member couple of years back i did move away. It happened again and i moved away from religion even more and then again i moved again. I guess its in our nature we like to blame someone for anything that has happened to us.
When i realized i cant run away from the one who created me and the one we all have to go to.......it made a lot of sense then. I had no sakoon whatever i would do or whomever i would talk to. I always felt i had this lava building up in me. I sat down and read Quran and namaz and slowly slowly everything got back to normal.
Now Alhumdulilah I am very close to religion. There are still things that i question but now i accpet everything.
It will take a very long time for people to heal after this earth quake.....
