You bring up a good point. There have been many un-halaal threads in this section. Why everyone is getting self-righteous and pious over this thread, I have no idea. I guess when it's your friends on GS who open silly threads it's tolerable but if it's someone else, well...

Instead of having one person who can't possibly fulfill all your needs you could just have multiple husbands who fulfill needs individually. I'd have one just for being hot, another who i could talk to about politics and economics and all the intellectual things that interest me and then maybe another who had the same hobbies as me; watching sports, travelling etc. Don't know how it would work practically but on an artifical level sounds good to me.

This is another one of those "taboo breaker" threads ... I find it inherently wrong. When someone asks on a fatwa site about "evidence for women only having one husband" to me is not the same as asking people "to entertain the fantasy of taking another husband" one is academic and the other is poisoning purity of mind.

True shyness is not just avoiding the act by betraying the thought from festering and extinguishing it ... here not only is a thought being fully entertained but others are being asked to do the same.

Good points Shahreyar Khan but the thing is i doubt 99% of the people who do go for 2nd or 3rd/4th marriages do so for the right reasons and even if the reason may be right, the don’t end up fulfilling the responsibilities of having multiple wives at the same time. It’s not a kids game to manage a single wife and the responsibilities only doubled/triple up with more wives and most men fail to fulfill them.
