Those who hold beliefs that constitute disbelief (kufr), such as having the belief that the Qur’an has been altered, Sayyiduna Ali (Allah be pleased with him) is God, the angel Jibril made an error in descending with the revelation on the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him & give him peace) rather than Sayyiduna Ali (Allah be pleased with him), accusing Sayyida Ai’isha (Allah be pleased with her) of committing adultery or denying the Companionship (suhba) of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (Allah be pleased with him).
Therefore, Shi’as who hold such beliefs are without doubt out of the fold of Islam.
Bahi jaan you are talking about some thinking pattern of a very illiterate Shia . Most of learnt people that I know of don’t believe in all this . Those old days are gone when people use to trust molvi sahab and never use to check the authentic references .
And yes its 2012 , people have changed and their thinking have changed . Its time we should finish off this political drama that took so many lives and kept muslims divided for so long . Our only label should be Muslim and not Suni/Shia . :k:
Bhai, if someone like Mufti Taqi Usmani cannot convince you, then I don't think I can.
Who are these learned people that you're talking about? I'd like to know. Please provide authentic references that says i t's OK to call someone a Muslim that says Quran has been changed, Abu Bakr (RA) is not trustworthy, etc.
Just because one says they are Muslim doesn't make one a Muslim. You have to accept Islam as it was revealed to the Prophet SAW, regardless of what year you're living in.
Next thing we know, Christians and Jews are OK, as well.
a certified alim/scholar/institution has more religious knowledge and experience then a mufti or a "tainted" so-call zakir, and i have yet to come across one who has labelled "shia" on a whole as "kafir" or non believer thus i am sorry ............
Shia as a whole aren't kafir. I never said that. There are extreme Shias who have beliefs that are clearly outside of Islam, while other are still Muslim, but have deviant beliefs.
You can check the links above. They are from scholars.
