Re: I want my jewerly exactly like this on wedding, what do you think?
Insha-Allah when I get married I'll be wearing a white tuxedo with a silver tie and my wifey will wear white dress/lehnga/sharara/garara with silver embroidery, platinum jewellry and tiara. Regal isn't it?
When I get married (still far far off) my mom wants my bride to wear a gold dress and wants me to wear a Sherwani but I think Sherwanis like other Desi clothes look GAY on men, I might compromise and let my wifey wear a gold dress but I'll still wear tuxedo/suit obviously co-ordinated with her dress in some way.
I'm sick of gold and red in Paki weddings, it looks so yucky and Indian, I hate those Indian-cocoons (saris) too.
How gay can you be? Rejecting sherwani and other mens' Pakistani clothes!
Tuxedo EEEEEEEEEEYOU

less is more! i agree! some people can pull off the more is more look, but most people can't. you're stuck on a stage all night- so i guess the reasoning is, she's not going anywhere, pile that s*** on!
Re: I want my jewerly exactly like this on wedding, what do you think?
I think Desis need to stop wearing the hideous medieval "traditional" clothes they do and adopt universal attire just like the rest of the civilised world.
Most would say it's western attire but it's not, it's universal attire because everyone everywhere regardless of religion, race, nationality and tribe wears it.
More colour, glitter and tinself is not better, it just looks stupid and outdated.
It's like the girls in Indian dramas and Bollywood films dress in colors so gay that even kindergarden kids would be ashmaed of using them.
Desis have bad taste.
I hate SK aswell, it's so uncomfortable and baggy.. It'd be be so much nicer if ppl back home just wore 3/4 pants and t-shirt so that I can show off my sexy waxed and muscular meterosexual legs.
Re: I want my jewerly exactly like this on wedding, what do you think?
see now, its one thing to have an opinion- its entirely another ballgame to diss someone elses and be racist to boot! that post just proved you're just bs'ing around in here and messing it up for the rest of us. lucky for you i'm not a mod- i'd have banned your ass a while ago. speaking of which, why are you in a forum mainly populated by girls?? is this a plea for attention? or are you tired of waxing your legs and need a distraction?

Rah thats a bit harsh isnt it? With comments like that ur gonna end up offending a whole load of women on this website who love asian fashion. Every1 has different tastes. For example u dont like asian clothes yet my hubs white and thinks their really and colourful. At one of our wedding functions he wore asian clothes and he looked so cute! Its all abt tastes man.
Re: I want my jewerly exactly like this on wedding, what do you think?
I guess each to their own but I find Desi clothes a complete turn off and totally unsexy… and the tinsel and bright colours hurt my eyes.
Iranians/Arabs/Turks etc. are so much more modern, refined, cultured, elegant and stylish than us Pakistanis with their impecable tastes. We could do with learning a thing or two from them.
Re: I want my jewerly exactly like this on wedding, what do you think?
Yes PP, many of us here find your screen name promiscuous paki a complete turn off too doesn;t mean u r obligated to change it right? To each their own. Give it a rest and please stop using every other thread here to tell all of us how unrefined and desi we are and how westernised/turkish/persian/arab and refined you are.
Re: I want my jewerly exactly like this on wedding, what do you think?
sorry for going offtopic but now that someone has brought it up so many times i’d like to point out that arabs/turk/iranian men and women have extremely cheesy choice and taste in clothing. almost all the middle eastern men and women i have met wore garish heavy makeup, logo-shirts like Armani X-change(a big boo!), bleached blonde hair teased ala britney spears (this also observed in dubai). I find that trying-too-hard and not exactly “refined”. u also must have heard of plastic surgery, nose jobs and makeup being a middle-eastern girl’s best friend.
ofcourse they are blessed with good looks…(the men …god DAMN!) but to say they are “stylish” is valid only if that sort of thing rocks your boat…
although most pakistani girls and guys are not known for their highly individualistic sense of fashion (i.e. they dress “safe”) i think many carry themselves quite well.
