I've seen sets like these around a lot lately, they're very elegant and look amazing...would you be getting it in white gold?

Her set just doesn't look like a bridal set. I'd get it bigger, with gold and white stones. f you want to be modern and cutting edge and above all, unique, go for it. But make sure your dress is modern as well because otherwise it would look odd against a traditional lengha. It looks more suited for the valima rather than the wedding day.

^ Well they're a rich family (lots of money, with little taste :)), but u can deff get something with cubic zirconia...noone wud be able to tell..

I like it, I think it’s a pretty set–just not perfect for a bride IMO. And by tasteless I meant the bra-top sari. :no:

ok, first of all, her hand looks huge!
secondly, i think that set entirely in diamonds and white gold would look amazing, pakifairy. but diamonds would be really $$$ wouldn't they?
you could wear it with a pale pink dress or a soft champagne color, although her green looks pretty but the outfit itself is no good.
who did her makeup? they did a good job.
personally, i love the one the lady in the green sari is wearing- it looks like vintage estate jewellery.
also, what is a modern cut dress? aren't all lehengas/ghararas cut the same way? do you mean in terms of sleeves and neckline?

the one in the green is, Farah Khan..she is a Jewellery designer herself..so I'm guessing she probably designed the jewellery herself..
I doubt it's all diamond..wouldn't that be really expensive!

i like everything, the bride's jewellery, outfit, makeup - except for the way the Beautician has draped her scarf over her outfit like a bag...culdve done better job!

Mysterious Woman - I agree - it looks as though her dress is realy nice but you can't see it cos of the way the dupatta is wrapped over her..

and we shouldnt call them tasteless because she wants to wear something like that - its her taste.
I love both the outfits - whether I would wear them or not - they look really hot.
And I love the set but I would get it bigger - all white but in a busier design.

Someone posted this a while ago and I think its gorgeous. Though it would look nicer if either the side jhoomar was worn or the clip but the design is really pretty.

thats an interesting set... the whole thing looks gorgeous- i want to see her looking up so i can see her entire outfit and makeup! i heart her hand thing- i totally want one of those for my wedding.

^ Its' called a pajangla..
It's jsut a pose.. u do a variety of poses and expressions on the wedding day...I don't think anyone really annoys u with the "dulhan shud be :(" stuff anymore, at least noone bugged me abt it.. I don't think i'm looking like that in ANY of my pix though (double chin...grrrrr).. i'm :D in all my pix.
