Before partition, my grandfather lived for 20 odd years in Pune and 20 odd years in Bombay. He was born in Punjab though, in the same ancestral town we call 'home' today. Weird how we are divided today, when our family histories span across an artificial border.
You came to America to study I presume?
My grandfather was from lahore. Even my dad was born in lahore. i am hardcore punjabi:)
