Re: i know 100 recipies :>
nope, at home.
practice makes one better at cooking.
it involves knowledge of nutritional science.
patience.
and a happy joyful mood to share prepared meals with family and friends.
i think any woman or man, who likes to cook and believes in healthy and prepared food can give it a try - be creative and good in cooking.
i like baking and steaming more than frying.

Re: i know 100 recipies :>
Yep dushi i agree, baking and steaming all the way, much more healthier than frying. can i please have the recipe for the lemonade drink and orange cake.
Thanks!
Re: i know 100 recipies :>
sure.
lemonade :
3 medium yellow lemons - juice drained and seeded
3 cups of crushed ice or ice chips
1 pitcher (fills 6, 8 oz glasses) cold water
2 stems of mint leaves (leaves crushed)
2 tbsp sugar for sweet lemonade, and 1/2 tsp leveled for salted lemonade
1/2 cup rooh-afza for creating the swirl in the crushed lemonade
instructions -
mix all ice, water, crushed mint leaves and sugar or salt together.
add lemon juice. mix well.
pour into glasses. ice should be crushed.
with a spouted milk-cup (dhoodh-dan) pour on the rooh-afza in a swirl to give a dazed color that seeps down into the glasses
serve at a barbecue. enjoy!
orange cake:
3 whole eggs
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp desiccated coconut
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
21/2 cups baking floor
2 sticks of butter ( 8 oz slightly softened and melted)
1 cup fresh orange juice (save the finely peeled orange-rind like we do for zerda)
2 tsp almond essence
1 Pillsbury sugar frosting can for decorating
instructions -
add all the dry ingredients together (including orange rind), except sugar.
mix eggs with a beater on high speed. fold in sugar and almond essence. mix in butter. bring the speed of the beater down to low.
heat up the oven to 350 degree for 20 minutes.
gradually add orange juice.
add butter. grease the 8 inch baking pan with little butter as well.
pour in the cake mix that you just prepared.
place in the over. bake until risen double its size and golden brown. approx 1 hour.
do check with a tooth pick that it comes out clean when you feel that the cake is fully baked.
take out the cake. you can smell warm baked orange cake.
let it cool.
take a spatula knife and decorate with frosting. serve with tea.
try these. you would like them.
dushwari :)
