I have had enough (merged)

After yesterdays events i have decided that i will not be posting in Pak1.

Even after Hell broke loose in Karachi, people as always present funny arguments to support their view. I do not even see a remorse or sadness for the lives lost, except for a very few.

If this is the situation of educated Pakistanis, what can one expect from gov goons.

The whole world saw what happened, the faces of people who were firing were clearly shown throughout the world, its not hard to catch them and punish them regardless of their political affiliations, but i am sure that nothing will happen. There is not even a talk of punishing the culprits.

When people and government areso indifferent, why should i raise my blood pressure everyday.

Re: I have had enough

Well said...beigharat pakistani qom deserve their hukamraan...

Re: I have had enough

I agree icon, and its really very obvious that this was carried out by these MQM ...terrorists supporting the Government agenda, who after a while showed their true colors.

And you shouldnt just leave like that Icon, you can clearly see that I usually do support the Government, but I am condemning this incident and blame the Government masterminding this plan for their loyal MQM thugz for carrying out this massacre in Karachi. Chaudhry Shujaat and Dur-Rani can issue all the condolences to Altaf Kong, but we all know who is responsible for all this.

Re: I have had enough

Icon,

Obviously everyone is sad over the pointless killings, the massacre, the bloodshed, the arson. All of us are hurt and numbed over the loss of lives, limbs, property, time, money and education. Karachi has been shut since Friday. There was a transport strike on Friday. This mess on Sat, Sunday is already half closed and a Black Day is marking a major shutdown. Tomorrow is a major strike all over Pakistan.

Our hearts go out to those homes and those families that lost everything in the departure of their beloved sons, husbands, fathers, brothers, friends. There are no words to describe this misery except a prayer for those affected and a prayer for a better future and more peace...

Re: I have had enough

i dint hear about this till today when it was on front page of english paper... , im prayin for those who have lost loved ones and for the ones that have been killed may allah grant them a place in jannat and also pray that teh ones that are injured get well soon. Ameen.

Re: I have had enough

so true..
we need seriously need to think about are country..
i have never been to karachi..but after watching yesterday's events i was in tears..Pakistanis died..Pakistanis got injured..Pakistanis lost financially..Pakistanis allowed this to happen..

Re: I have had enough

the CJ's role during this crisis may not have been exemplary. although he did not involve himself in politics, but he failed to dissuade others from using him as a political symbol. but what about musharraf's role who filed the reference against 'corrupt' CJ but finds nothing wrong with his political allies? after what i have seen in the last two days, i don't think i can trust these 'leaders' on any issue. they (musharraf included) did not have to place the blame on the CJ and side with altaf after what his ghundas did in karachi.

Re: I have had enough

^ Curious why you quoted me, I pretty much agree to what you said...

Re: I have had enough

I am really ashamed of myself - being Karacihite and being urdu speaking! I apoligize all my freinds (pushtoons, punjabies, sindhies and balochies) whom I came across in life who have been so loving and caring people.

Altaf and his killer party is taking to Karachi and its own people nowhere. Majority of the people here are so sad. But they have to speak it out and never vote for these callous people.

Re: I have had enough

The whole country is now against them. And this is a good opportunity for people of Pakistan to unite and vote for good people in next election.

Musharraf whom I suppported very much proved him so callous that just for the sake of remaining in power, he patronized all this bloodshed in Karachi.

Re: I have had enough

Aah the simpletons of gupshup. Aap log raat ko sotay haiN, subha bister pe tala hua anda hota hai.

Re: I have had enough

well said :k:

Re: I have had enough

Well you need n't be so surprised. Musharraf is urdu-speaking after all and yesterday he showed his true colours. He's a callous usurper. Again I don't want to generalise and put all urdu-speaking people (the vast majority of whom are well-educated and mild-mannered) or any ethnic community in Pakistan for that matter in the same boat. no wonder television dramas/plays/shows etc. are dominated by intellectuals like Moin Akhtar, Haseena Moin, Anwar Maqsood and his sister Fatima Suraiyya Bajiya etc.

Re: I have had enough

Bhaijan. Do you honestly believe that people with popular vote will ever get into power in Pakistan.

Pakistani politics is a joke.

Re: I have had enough

I think Urdu speaking people r the better part of Pakistan. The community has produced several distinguisable characters in all spheres of the society...from Fakhar ud Din g Ebrahim to Anwar Maqsood. I think MQM gets so much vote from this community because it has no alternative...

Re: I have had enough

irresponsible comments like this has a big part to play in Pakistan's current situation

Inquilab / Revolution or no Pakistan

We have enough of these retards ruling us. Enough is enough...

The generals, the politicians. The Q league...MMA, MQM ANP PPP.......I hate them all....

These people have started playing with people's lives..!

I am sick of this country.... Its going to be all normal and forgotten in a day or two.. Who cares....What we can do is just be sad and raise our blood pressures and get headaches...

I really have no hope remaining.......

So what if free and fair elections take place so what???? !!! Nothing is going to change...Its going to be this same BS again and again. Same parties, same people, their sons and their chamchas....! Its pathetic.!!!

the end result is that the common man in Pakistan has no value. Even a fly is more precious. You take a gun...and go on a killing spree and nothing happens. Go and even buy justice...

And this horrible monster we have over us since 7 years...trying his full... to malign this country and its army and not letting go of the kursi!

then he has his "enlightened" allies.......who better than MQM which is a proved clan of murderers and hooligans...

Oh i hate them all and sick of this country's leaders.

Tragedy is that no change seems to be coming. Illiterate Pakistanis + parhay likhay mafad parast jaahils just sit in homes and become sad. Nobody does anything. On top of that in a week we all forget and same vicious circle continues....

WHoever thinks Pakistan is a livable place is living in a fools paradise.

All we need is that all of them and i mean all of our leaders....just get lost somewhere... May Allah have mercy on us. May Allah guide them or make them perish!

and from this day onward, i don't want to read, discuss and write anything related to Pakistan~!

Re: I have had enough

Decent Ji you conveniently ignored my subsequent lines (I have clearly stated that I am not someone who likes to generalise....) and I have urdu-speaking relatives if that makes you feel better! I liked Musharraf when he first came to power but subsequent events have shown that he's no different than Zia or Ayub. He's another power-hungry dictator who will do what ever it takes to hang onto power whether it means making back-door deals with Benazir/PPP or siding with MQM. He is just another usurper and must go now. Yes he was needed in 1999 but now it's time for him to go honourably and let elected civilian politicians take over the reigns of the country as happens in most civilised nations :)

Re: I have had enough

^^ There are good and bad people in every race, nation, tribe, country. So lets not make this into a defend my nation or bash the other bi*chfest please.

90+% Pakistanis are muslims. So we need to show some islamic brotherhood for a change. The minorities live amongst us and need us to protect their interests as well. But this can only happen if are united.

Our political parties (either nationalistic or racial groups) are looting the nation and exploiting the innocent for their common goal which is to seek power and be kings alone. If its not one its the other on a certain day who has their hands red from the blood of the masses.

Re: I have had enough

 these people are famous becuz they produce intelligent and quality programs, it has nothing to do with stupid government…if it was not for these people today…PTV and all other channel would have nothing but TRASH
