Nik did ask what she did was right or not in the original post. So because she is TLK’s wife we are suppose to just haan main haan millina and not dare to say anything that might cause the wrath of TLK?

Furthermore the replies on this thread were all very mature and not prejudiced. No sarcasm, no rolling eyes whatsoever. Which is very good and how it should be.
If only we could be like that with other members as well :)

On a more serious note, I was just posting as a member. Even if I was not a director, I probably would have said the same thing. Its unfair that you think that I am taking advantage of my position as the director. If it appeared that way then I apologize.
As a husband, I do not apologize at all. Whether Niks is right or wrong, I will always be on her side (at least in public). Is not that what marriage vows all about? I am sure your hubby would do the same for you. (if he does not, then I urge you to start a thread in Life1 :D)
I expect a couple of miscalls from my stalkerish supervisor followed by an email that says “Hi, are you in college today? Regards” … I might just take inspiration from this thread and tell her exactly how I feel when she keeps an eye on me like I’m a school kid!

I did some quick calculations on my ypad to run the statistics. Once you remove the input from mods and CFON (Close Friends of Nik), there does appear to be a consensus.
I wouldn't do it but you know the situation better.
Sometimes it is better to stay quiet and ignore than to hurt someone with harsh words esp when they havent really done much harm to you. Yah, maybe she was annoying but I think you couldve said it a nicer way...
I say better to not give out your number unless there is a person you really have to or wish to talk to etc.
I think that you did not read 10 calls in 10 minutes part .. and I am witness to that - and it happens once or twice every week - and she does do that just with Niks but with 3 other people that Niks knows.
I am not sure if Niks was rude or that person is rude who does not respect people's family time and privacy.
and if you two dont think that she was rude, please send me your phone numbers and within 24 hours, you will learn how annoying it could get if person keeps calling you after every 5 mins.
TLK we all have right to give our opinions . She asked "I feel good. But did I do the right thing?". If you don't like it then don't ask for it on a public forum.

Yes Niksik was rude. I'd be super ... make that 100x .. annoyed if someone calls me that many times but I'll never speak to anyone like that. Its just plain rude. Don't care what her hubby jee has to say in this matter but she was rude. My husband will never tolerate that... probably make me call that person to say sorry. But hey everyone is different. If I ever did that.. the last thing I'll be would be proud of myself. If I ever have to do it, I'll feel horrible afterwards, not proud
Not taking anyone's side..this is just my POV..but like everyone has an opinion, dont u think TLK also has an opinion as a member? Then y bash him for his opinion and remind him of being director? Dont friends take eachother's side regarding their opinions then y cant couples? If A has an opinion about the OP then B would have an opinion about A's opinion-dont we see that happening all the time here on GS?

The problem here is that a thread is opened to ask for opinion/comments and when they are given some of them are not liked because they were not in OP’s favour so those people are being bashed for giving a non favourable comment/opinion.
I agree with bebo on “haan main haan milana” this in my opinion many of the posters did and even questioned others for a different/unfavourable opinion . This thread showed me how biased people are on Life1 and for some I had great respect but sadly I was wrong.
Exactly my point, this happens all the time on GS(conflicting opinions and often bashing each other for their opinions)..members do that to eachother..its just not the director or his wife..maybe its just the norm here..which I strongly dislike:hinna:
