Im sorry I would still beat my kid then follow it by an explanation of what they are doing is wrong.. I think discipline is extremely important. They would already be brought up to know what is halal and haraam and if they are hiding and watching porn then they know they are doing something wrong. Its just not something I would be willing to put up with
And as far as the addiction thing goes.... My mind just cant accept the theory behind it.. Call me ignorant if you must but its just not going to be acceptable and if my husband decides to use the excuse that he's addicted it shows a lack of self control. Im not being all extreme by saying that "oh im gona die of a heart attack if I caught him watching porn" and neither am i oblivious to the fact that 99.9% of guys married or not do watch it but if he does then I would rather him not use the line that he's addicted to it coz I swear I just find that a pathetic excuse to carry on doing wrong.. and that aint gonna be how things go in my house!
