Just a question for GS ladies or any lady for this matter !
How many girls would accept
26 year old guy
Cisco certified Voice Professional
Not a graduate (drop out)
$55,000 per annum income
does not own any property other than a car.
And at the moment living with parents but wants to move out.
Slightly over weight (has a gut, but going to gym and trying to loose weight)
Does this fit in any ladies list of an acceptable husband
You would have better chances if you had a college education. Its not just about degrees, you know. My husband was making 36k a year in FL (which was peanuts) when I married him 6 years ago and all he had was his car and a rental apartment (and he was a bit overweight too but he's good looking :p). The main thing was that he had a solid college education which did make a big difference and thats why I even considered him, he is really really ambitious and hard-working too which was evident from the way he spoke.
When I look back upon those days, I smile :). We've come a long way since then (MashaAllah). You should definitely get a better education, it makes a big difference in how people look at you.
P.S. Certifications are not considered college education, thats just technical stuff. Go for Bachelors in any area, it will give you a lot of exposure and broaden your horizons. Go part-time, if you can't go for a full-time degree.
Aww, so you have no money in your bank account? Ok, Voice, you can come over for thanksgiving at my place. My chaachi is cooking Turkey and I'm making the mashed potatoes.
^^ you have very basic requirement for a husband, you need to listen/read PCG thoughts to improve on that.
PCG always amazes with her requirements, specially when she is not explaining what is she offering in return? or to be accepted as spouse.
Again, why are these requirements so amazing? They're basic goals that every man should go after. I'm not asking you Pakistani men to all become rocket scientists or invent the cure to cancer. These are all manageable goals.
What do I have to offer? Quite a bit.
Anyone truly interested - we can discuss those details further. For now, I don't think any of you really care anyway.
So you want husband too? mujhey pehley hee shuk tha :)
haha nah i'm just saying. I don't know if thats husband material. I work on commission only so I don't know how that would affect the daughter's family side of thinking.
Although working in Wall St. is pretty prestigious, commission only turns off people.

well PCG, i personally surpass all the requirements you have set, frankly they are reasonable but these may filter many potential partners that you might be interested in or vice versa.
many would care about whats on offer, this may help them in trying to achieve goals set by you :) and ignite the motivation process.
