-HUMSAFAR-

re: -HUMSAFAR-

Actually thats not quite true…Most of us here are pretty much in love with her :snooty:

re: -HUMSAFAR-

love love the review guys!! :)

re: -HUMSAFAR-

Very nice episode, :) And ending was disturbing and they didn't give any clues about his dad. They are going to introduce some new characters.

re: -HUMSAFAR-

Its elite class so they are not gonna fight like witches, I think Sarmad if saas bahu thing come up, will handle it in a decent way not like MZZB which was too much dramatic.

re: -HUMSAFAR-

Nice episode! Just watched it again properly. Loved Ashar and Khirad scenes.

Not really lookig forward to next week! haha

The scene were Khirad packs Ashar's suitcase for china reminded my of parents. My mum asks the exact question when my dad leaves for china. The only diffrence is my dad indirectly asks my mum if she'll miss him! - loved ashar and khirad's scene.

re: -HUMSAFAR-

i totally disagree with the comments about Asher being passive and offering to get eat somewhere and tareefing Sara instead of standing up for her, he's not an Arfeen from MZZB, i don't think so.

Don't you guys see, he feels it in his heart and soul, but he doesn't want to bring it up to her to hurt her feelings? He said to Sara.."uski feelings bohat hurt hotey hon" etc etc etc. It was his way of showing her that what those girls think does not matter to him; something he makes clear when she asks him what she should wear. He doesn't want her competing with them.

I think he wonderfully conveys his feelings and take on the whole issue without creating a huge scene or treating with Khirad like she's a child.

i am sure asher as a character will have flaws...but this is not one of them, not yet! I see being extremely caring towards her, he was only trying to divert her attention and make her happier. It's not that he didn't interfere at the party because he was embarrassed of Khirad or didn't know what to do...it was obvious he didn't approve of the behavior, but lets keep in mind it's the first time he sort of saw Sara's true self....he probably didn't know how to react without further embarrassing Khirad.

re: -HUMSAFAR-

here is another gr8 news for all fawad's fans...
He is playing Zaroon Junaid in "Zindagi Gulzar hai" by Umera Ahmed, which will be aired after "Durr-e-Shehwar" also by Umera Ahmed on Hum TV...

I think he's a perfect choice for Zaroon's character.

P.S. Saman Saeed will be playing Kashaf Murtaza..

re: -HUMSAFAR-

is it also based on novel?

re: -HUMSAFAR-

I used to read all these Umera Ahmed and Farhat Ishtiaq novels back in 10th grade when they appeared monthly in Khwateen Digest and other such publications. Never thought I'd see so many being televised! I've read Zindagi Gulzar Hai and just realized I've read Humsafar before too :/

re: -HUMSAFAR-

It is interesting to read differing views about how Asher handled the party scene. I think this just confirms that 'Humsafar' is like a piece of art, where everyone interprets it in their own way. There is no right or wrong interpretation here IMO, because afterall this is fiction.

We can read Khirad's gaze at Asher, as she is being taken by Sara as desperation, helplessness or indeed just frustration. But we cannot be sure of what Asher is feeling at that moment unless the writer explained it in words because afterall, Asher is a figment of imagination, beautifully described in Farhat Ishtiaq's writing and visualized beautifully by Sarmad using his own interpretation....

re: -HUMSAFAR-

the name of the novel sounds familiar. I don't think I've read it otherwise a name like Zaroon would have stuck with me LOL

Any chance you know who the director is? Hope it ain't Baber Javed.

re: -HUMSAFAR-

yeah one of her early novels..and one of my fav..can't wait

re: -HUMSAFAR-

Sultana Siddique is the director...hope this would be another hit like humsafar...

re: -HUMSAFAR-

oh i have read the novel n didnt find it interesting lets c how it is dramatize

re: -HUMSAFAR-

something is black black in daal daal

re: -HUMSAFAR-

If that is directed by the Sultana Siddiqui then it would be a hit like her earlier dramas Marvi, Ye Zindagi, Zara si Muhabbat, Shayad ke bahar aae. I think its been almost 6-7 years that Sultana Siddiqui didn't direct a drama. Really looking forward to it and thanks God Umera now saving her works from totally commercialised Babar Javed.

some indian blogger writes abt humsafar episodes every week!

re: -HUMSAFAR-

I do remember reading that novel!! some girl kashif who goes to universiy and this zaroon always ridiculed her!! .. dont remember exactly though! but it was good! ... however, I would want to see bin roye anso dramatized first! :(

re: -HUMSAFAR-

didn't realize that Sultana Siddique was jumping back into direction since she's been at the helm of Hum TV and its subsidiaries since its inception. Should be interesting.
I went thru the novel last night and I remembered I had tried to read it and found it to be quite boring. It's about the ego tussle between two individuals. Let's hope it's more Daam than Maat :D

re: -HUMSAFAR-

The episode was an epic!

Zarda scene with her shying away - beautiful
**Party scene & her embarrassment *- Emotions of all 3 were portrayed very well. One thing I really liked was how Khirad did not tell or complain to Asher about it. Guys hate it most when women complain. He knew something was wrong with her but she didn't want to upset him since sara was his best friend. That's true love!
*
Sara's karakaydaar bisti **- fantabulous but pretty less.

Overall, I am getting admired by Fawad's acting with every passing episode. Khirad too is acting well. But honestly, although I hate Sara but she is a great actress & well suited to her role.

P.S: Please guys stop telling us its a sad ending, I am already dreading every next episode for it to get tragic. Please don't spoil it for us. Thanks -
