Drama Serial humsafar, based on novel by farhat ishtiaq
I remember reading this novel … and I absolutely loved it!
now that they are making a serial on it!! Im so excited!!! I cant waitttttt
Here is the promo guys!!
Starring: Our very own Fawad khan, Mahira Khan, Atiqa Odho, Naveen Waqar, Behroz Sabzwari and Noor Hassan!!
must say phenomenal cast!! .. Mahira has already impressed me with her acting skills, she is not only a pretty face but a fine actor too. and ofcourse Fawad khan, hearthrob of millions … loved him in satrangi and daastan!!
btw, guys lil off topic, but i have read her bin rooye anso novel, and i think tht was her one of best piece ever!! … does anyone know if they are planning on making a serial on it??
The novel was totally Fantastic. I am excited about the drama but I am s0mewhat a bit worried about Mahira. I m watching her drama 'neeyat' and she is not a good actress @ all. . .. Her dialogue delivery is so emotion-less. I dunno w0t is she g0nna d0 in Hum-safar.....
Bin Roye Ansoo is amazing. Mahreen Jabbar is making a serial based on Farhat Ishtiaq's Mata e Jaan Hai Tu. I love that novel best of all her novels.
Waise it's funny how when someone adapts one novel of an author, then everyone rushes in to dramatize all of their works. Even those works which may not be suited for dramatization.
Can I just say that Fawad and Mahira look AMAZING TOGETHER!!!! so so so adorable :) I read the novel because I got curious after watching the promos. Pretty decent novel I must say but I am also skeptical about Mahira's acting skills. I stopped watching Neeyat after the first couple of epis so not sure how she's doing there. Khird has to show A LOT of emotions without a lot of dialogue-baazi and I hope Mahira is able to do that....let's see. I am just excited to see a FRESH pairing on screen - ah what a beautiful relief :)
I haven't read this novel of Farhat Ishtiaq but is it true that MJ is dramatizing Mata'e' Jan hai tu? I absolutely loved the novel and cried over it too but it's so tragic :(
^MJ talked about making Mata-e-jaan into a drama on her facebook page many times, she was even asking people to come and audition for some roles if they would be interested. But personally i want to see an already established actress as Haniya and Fawad as Abad :D niewbies tend to screw their first time drama and i dont want Mata ruineddd !!
Right now MJ is making something else this Fall but yes I remember reading on her FB page that she's planning on making Maat-e-Jaan. Not sure if it will actually materialize we'll have to see. I tried reading Maat-e-Jaan and found it to be absolutely boring and predictable. Maybe it was just me but that one just put me to sleep with its pointless architecture talk and a girl trying to establish a relationship with her dead fiance's parents.
Coming to Humsafar, the girl playing Hareem looks older than 4. I had a feeling they might pick like a 6+ year old child since it would be tough to find a 4-5 year old who can learn so many dialogues. And Fawad's dialogue delivery seems kind of flat in the promo :( I hope it ain't so.
Wonder if this will start on Sundays after that crappy Humayun Saeed drama ends.
This is a story about Khard who becomes a part of Ashar’s life only to find the latter’s mother turning him away from her. Unwillingly, Khard leaves Ashar, but fate once more brings them together with another family-member, Hareem, playing a crucial role in the reunion. Does she succeed in bridging the gap and getting rid of all the misunderstandings between Ashar and Khard, and uniting the two forever?
inside story: Khard was good at mathematics, Asher motivates her to join university. Saara is another gal, who has crush on Asher, and jealous from Khird and want to marry Asher. Khird was forced to leave Ahser house because his mom made false allegation against Khird and claimed that she has had affair in university.
guys kinda off topic .. but read this .. abt Mate-jaan novel by faraht! Rukhsar you were right ... they are really dramatizing the novel
"Maata e Jaan shoot starts in 3 weeks, with Fawad Khan, Sarwat Gillani, Sanam Saeed, Junaid Butt, Sajida Syed, and others. The script is written by Farhat Ishtiaq, based on her novel and is produced by MD Productions."
yeah I'm kind of hoping he doesn't ruin Ashar's character. Banda dekhnay mein screen pe acha lagta hai - kya karain :(
I really liked him in daastan and satrangi .. thought he was quite good!! but akhbari asghari .. dont know wht happ to him, even sanam dissappointed me in tht drama!! wht was hisam thinking!! i still dont believe it he is the same guy who directed Dastaan! :(
