Another good episode with brilliant editing. Every scene falls into the next scene so seamlessly! Naveens acting skills are commendable. When she is on the phone with Mahira, her expressions are impressive to say the least. Imagine the director telling you to sound very friendly over the phone but look hateful at the same time! Not an easy task by any means, especially for a newcomer! But Naveen pulls it off very well!
A minor blunder was the chess scene, although done nicely, it came in a rush. We were not told why Asher looks at Khirad for help. How did he know she plays chess?
I was also wondering about the role of Sara's mother. I haven't read the novel, but wonder how Farhat Ishtiaq defined that role in the novel. Surely a mother who is so concerned about her daughter's well being would try a bit harder. She knows of Sara's intentions clearly, yet does not think it necessary to alert her sister Farida or Asher of her daughter's abnormal behaviour towards Khirad.
Maybe a more proactive mother would have been an inconvenience in the plot of the story that Farhat Ishtiaq had invisiged......
But despite these minor observations, I think the direction and the overall feel of the drama is simply beautiful. :)

If the drama was directed by Babar Javed and he casted Faisal Qureshi as Asher and Aamina Shaikh as Khirad, would you people still watch this drama with same excitement. I would even not bother to look at promos.

every one here thinks Sara only will bring troubles but i think fareeda will hav some part too. the way she looked in last ep when asher was talking to her, i'm surprised how she accepted khirad so easily. she'll show her true colors soon.

I might have taken a look at a few episodes but Baber Javed's direction annoys me to no end. I usually forward through the majority of his dramas if I do watch them like MZZB, Main Abdul Qadir, Roag, Qaid-e-tanhai.
He would have surely ruined most of Farhat's script by casting some moron as Sara's character and made her into a typical soap opera villain.
Also credit should be given to Momina for casting people so well. Sarmad only picked Atiqa to play the mom. From his interview on JPJ it sounded like the rest of the casting was already done. She's definitely turning out to be a good producer.
whoever posted the link to the novel...thankyou so much to them! I read it yesterday! I am not going to give out any spoilers...All I can say is Farhat ishtiaq better make some changes to the drama script because the book I read was just horrible and it has shocking similiraties to mzzb( not the whole story perhaps but the point of contention in the book). I have been following the drama so I was expecting a completely different climax then the one in the book....so yeah...I am disappointed...I wish I hadn't read the novel lol.
Something aside from the story line, I attended Quratul-ain Balouch's concert yesterday. For those of you who don't know about her, she is the singer of the title track of this drama. She sang the song twice on people's request & OMG it was mesmerizing, the entire crowd singing with the melodious tune .. & Masha Allah she sang on the highest pitch with such accuracy.
I am triple times in love with the song as well, now .. drools
