re: -HUMSAFAR-
I would like to use Sara as my personal punching bag…ugh, just go away woman, please!
Asher and Khirad were wonderful as usual today. I’m so glad they brought up the topic of her continuing education. We learned a little more about Khirad’s background and it showed she’s capable of standing on her own two feet. ![]()
Also, I can’t for next week’s episode - based on the preview, Sara finally gets told off by Asher (YES!) and there’s more awesome development in the romance dept. with Asher and Khirad!! ![]()
re: -HUMSAFAR-
Haaai…kaash mein Khirad hoti…![]()
P.S. I know I know probably all the girls on this thread are thinking the same thing…
‘lamp off kardoon ya tum ne magazine parhna hai?’ :me faints: ![]()
Sophistication at its best!
re: -HUMSAFAR-
I am just in love with this drama...wish i had someone who would have tolerated me this much:(
:D
Asher is the perfect hero out of a novel (well so far) - doesn't happen in real life! If my husband had said "ice cream kaaho gi" and I would have "aap ki maarzi" like Khirad did, he would steered the car home and went straight to bed LOL!
@PePsI - no in the novel they don't play chess together. He plays w/ his dad and she watches on, doesn't help him. I liked that very very adorable touch Farhat added to the drama :)
@Sehar - I don't pick up the phone while Humsafar is coming on haha! Usually my daughter starts talking as soon as the drama starts and I am going "shh shh....talk during the commercials" which of course she doesn't haha! But it gives me another reason to watch the drama online ;-)
This addiction need to stop seriously.
A couple of minor bloopers in this epi -
at Asher's friend's place, Khirad is wearing a white chooridaar and then at the coffee shop it is black again (same as last epi).
The coffee shop scene - were those 2 people sitting on the corner when K&A entered taking pics of K&A??
Also was Khirad's ice cream supposed to be this mush of strawberry and chocolate. It looked like they gave her chocolate and she did not like it at which Asher had smiled.
She is wearing the same clothes when Sara calls in desperation to Asher for help and the next day when Sara comes to visit Khirad. To which my husband went "gaandi ladki naha ker kapray tow badal laitee" LOL They just shot all the scenes on the same day w/out giving thought to Khirad's wardrobe.
Nothing major, it was just fun picking out the bloopers :)
re: -HUMSAFAR-
I know I got goosebumps watching the preview
Did you notice how his voice got a little husky when he said that and also when he said “tum mujhe miss karo gi” - Oh if one could give awards out for the subtleties - LOVE THEM!!!
re: -HUMSAFAR-
Too many fainting spells going on here....hehe.I am so glad i watched it online before the snow storm knocked the power out...loved the episode...makes me giggle every time..they make such a great onscreen couple,it is amazing..!!!..

I don't think she is wearing white churidaar at the daawat. Its clearly black and one lady even comments "aap pe black bohat suit karta hai"
Two people "a couple" were taking their own picture with their phone.
Yeah it isn't strawberry icecream. I kinda noticed that too.
And the last blooper, well a lot of us do wear the same clothes the next day too at home.
re: -HUMSAFAR-
Loved this week's episode as well. Except, couldn't stand Sara and her petty games that she has started to play. Gosh, so annoying! But did you all notice, how Khirad wasn't really taking Sara seriously? or at least she didn't make it obvious - she just let it go and was completely normal with Asher. I really liked that. Can't wait for next week - aahhh finally the ACTUAL romance is going to start. Yayyyy!
re: -HUMSAFAR-
this is not directly related to the drama, but wow I didn't know, Mahira Khan is actually married and has a baby too! She looks a bit young .. or mebbe its just how she comes across in Hamsafar.
re: -HUMSAFAR-
sara is doing justice 2 her character since ebery1 hating her this means she is doing it perfectly :) bc her character is meant 2 b hated n thts the beauty :)
re: -HUMSAFAR-
why everyone is hating Sara. What else a girl would do if She always had thought of only 1 one person to get married to. Not only she but her mother and aunt were too talking about Sara and Ashar. Moving on isn’t always that simple. ![]()
re: -HUMSAFAR-
She is of sick mentality and doesn’t lose a chance to degrade Khirad. In last scene of yesterday’s episode she said that Khirad is from small city (Hyderabad) and she suddenly become lucky to have designers clothes instead of ordinary clothes she used to wear earlier. This shows her sense of insecurity and so called superiority complex which is also common in many of the girls who belonged to her class in real life. A good message is given through Khirad’s character and that is ’ Jo log zindagi ka zaiqa paanch ungliyon se chakhte hain wo zindagi ko churri kante walon se ziada behter jante hain’.

yup... she was wearing white churridar at the dawat!
the guy in the restaurant was actually Sarmad Khosat who was taking pic. ... look closely! :P
and Asher asked her if she wants to eat ice cream.... but when he was getting off the car... he said... main khudi ja kar coffee pee aaon.. lolz
but its totally ok!!!.... love the drama!!!.... and we noticing such minor details do explain keh we are addicts!!!.... God Bless us ALL!!!... lolzz
re: -HUMSAFAR-
Hmm .. Loved the episode from yesterday! And loooking so much forward for the next one ..
About the white dress at the dawat.. Are we talking about yesterdays episode or next time?
Because in yesterdays episode she is wearing a black churidaar, I think you guys are confused with the next promo, where she is going to wear white, no?
She is wearing black all the way in this one at least: http://www.desitvdramas.com/vidd/youtube.php?id=_w0HnttpMiI

I know its negative. She mostly degrades Khirad. But I m saying we can say we dislike her in that role but can't hate her. According me everyone tends to be jealous in such a situation. Ok may be not the same as Sara is in but still If I talk about myself, If my mother tells me that my father/brother is going to take me for outing/shopping or some other thing today. I will be excited but If suddenly some guests jump in or any of my relative calls my father/brother and request them to go somewhere with them.
I will surely be upset and feel angry.
Or another example if a student always stands first in her class and suddenly some other girl (may be more intelligent than her or may be just with good luck) comes in and takes her position away, the former will be upset and will try to get her position back. For me its a part of nature to be jealous of someone who took away anything that you considered only yours.
re: -HUMSAFAR-
Even those who are bashing Sara for degrading Khirad would probably at some point in their lives have done the same. It is typical of people in our society to bring about someone's past to cast doubt on their present achievements. "you should see how middle class her parents were and now she pretends to be all begum" " she used to wear sleeveless back in the day and look at her now in that abaya and scarf. plus how many times have we judged people because of their accent, their dressing etc. we're all guilty of indulging in such thinking, myself included, and Sara is reflective of that typical mentality. Perhaps the people we hurl these comments against might not be as good looking as Khirad or have a hubby as hot as Asher but look around you (and in the mirror) to see how our society is rife with this 'sara mentality'.
re: -HUMSAFAR-
Another great episode. Chess scene
Calculator scene was also good, it’s the most they’ve talked in once scene.
I also wish that they had expanded the gardening scene, where Asher catches her looking at him, and she quickly turns away…in the book the scene was more elaborate, she moved around his plants in his absence, and he comes back to tend to them, and gets annoyed but doesn’t know who had moved them around…later she confesses to him that she had done it. It was very well done in the book.
Anyhow, Khirad’s facial expression when she tells Asher that Sara achi larki hai…states that she’s perplexed by Sara’s attitude..and can’t really tell if Sara is really ‘good’.
I love khirad’s mustard/white/blue outfit. Very pretty! Asher in white shalwar kameez (his PJs), very cute!!
Naveen is doing a great job!
re: -HUMSAFAR-
did he said i love u 2 her or not?
re: -HUMSAFAR-
^ not yet
re: -HUMSAFAR-
I think it's one thing to be deeply hurt that the one person you love is being taken away from you and be jealous and petty and another to make your whole life revolve around that one person and be crazily obsessed - which is the direction I'm afraid Sara's veering into.
But no matter, for me at the moment, Sara fall unders the who-I-love-to-hate category...it's fun to get irritated at her antics so watching her get her comeuppance is that much sweeter, but I'd still like to see her move on and be happy later in the series.
