President Clinton visit to Ghana, Uganda, Rwanda, South Africa, Botswana, and Senegal in 1998 costs $42.8 million:
1) DOD flew 98 airlift missions and 110 aerial refueling missions, transported 13 Army and Marine Corps helicopters, established at least four separate maintenance support teams, and established temporary medical evacuation units in five countries.
2) DOD sent 904 of the 1,302 people who traveled to Africa and paid 88 percent of the trip's $42.8 million cost.

1) the cost per hour to fly Air Force One, the president's personal plane, is $34,400.
2) The $72-million price tag paid for a lot more than just flying President Clinton. It also paid for 297 military missions largely for the ferrying back and forth of some 2,400 people and necessary equipment working -- sometimes months in advance -- to assure smooth travel for the President.
3) The trip to Africa alone involved 10 advance trips by military planes and the travel of 904 DOD personnel -- the equivalent of a U.S. Army battalion.

Before 2001 everyone heard it. Musharraf, when asked about innocents getting killed because of militancy, on record he had said that “All such things happen in a ‘freedom’ struggle and nothing can be done”. This he said it in agra summit before 9/11. But after that, he changed or perhaps even denied having said that
Last time when bomb blasts took place in mumbai, openly fingers were pointed at pakistan based terror groups.

^Coz India has nothing to do then accuse Its neighbour when home security fails and own Indian terrorists plant bombs and make them explode on their home soil (like the raw inspired high jacking of Air India). They have that we-all-are-patriots vanity and no one is believed to go against India in India.

Where do you think our civilian leaders used to stay when they were visiting foreign nations? The Holiday Inn?
I still remember how the last time Benazir was in power, she and her entourage visited London and were put up by the government at the Hilton...but decided that the rooms were too small, and ended up leaving and having the government pay for accomodations at some even more expensive 5* hotel...however, since they left the first hotel in the middle of their stay, the government had to pay the full bill there too...
Criticize Musharraf for this as much as you want...just don't expect anything different from the civilian politicians...

J-e-Ali what a comparision. Didnt we all support Mushy in 1999 for exactly not doing loot maar in our country?! Wasnt he the one who promised to speak for the nation and not burden It the way the previous leaders have done (by corruption and transferring national financial assets to swiss banks) ?
How dare then you compare him with a leader you already had filed corruption cases against?
…and you should learn to look around you in your country whether my people too do the same or not.
