Things in desi culture that are gone

Re: Things in desi culture that are gone

**i don’t think so…i haven’t seen or heard anyone being paid for their fare. i’m talking about the practice whereby invariably every guest was paid weather rich or poor. now, may be parents pay their kids’ fare if they can’t afford.

recittaion of Qur’aan in the morning is still alive and well in both urban as well as rural areas. it may have vanished among so called "burger families’ but in majority families at least one person does this regularly. i’ve seen some Muslims in Canada doing that. so i would say this tradition is alive and well and iA will always be alive and well. :)**
