HRH Musharraf spends 2 million rupees per night on his personal room in London

Musharraf’s stay at a luxurious hotel opposite of Hyde Park has cost Rs. 2 Million or roughly £17,000 per night to Pakistani tax payers. A four night stay would roughly amount to 8 Million Rupees and this does not include the cost of rooms for the entire team that accompanied Musharraf during his unofficial European trip.

Senior British journalists have reported to be smiling all the time while Musharraf was disgracefully distributing charge sheet against Chief Justice of his own country to foreigners related to fuel/medical expenses, and probably his son’s admission in Medical College that happened a decade ago.

While Musharraf recently added a $60 Million (Rs 3.6 Billion) Learjet into his fleet of 14 VVIP aircrafts, Chief Justice, who is much more senior than the Army Chief, was accused of using Mercedes car…

Re: HRH Musharraf spends 2 million rupees per night on his personal room in London

Wait till you hear his MQM supporters come up with all kinds of excuses/justifications.

Much richer countries don’t spend this much, yet they will still find some kind of rationale.

Re: HRH Musharraf spends 2 million rupees per night on his personal room in London

keeping the figures aside,

what was the purpose of the visit?
How the visit was going to benefit Pakistan ( in long and short run)?
Did the president and his team succeeded in the mission?
if yes, how that will benefit Pakistan?
if not, who is responsible for the failure?

are the questions we should be asking our president and his lovers, a share of that money ( spent on this tour) was out my hard-earned money. i want above answers... will the mush lovers care to take this answers or this is something new to them...

Re: HRH Musharraf spends 2 million rupees per night on his personal room in London

Power corrupts almost anyone..that too having absolute power, being a military chief and country president at the same time, must make anyone corrupt even more easily. And also Musharraf is looking for glory...He declared that he is close to solving kashmir problem as he must have successfully conceded somehow something from indian government, then he immediately offered to mediate in middle east to solve problems between israel and others, and also wrote his own book.

Re: HRH Musharraf spends 2 million rupees per night on his personal room in London

Kashmir issue is indeed moving on the right path. People no longer hear much about ‘cross border terrorism’ or about bomb blasts in India by Pakistani based terror groups. :k:
