im deffo a regular !!! I go every week for a manicure and pedicure- the pedi consists of a foot scrub and alternativley a parrafin wax too!!! I do think women shud spend on these luxuries for lovely hands and feet:k:

I used to go once a month … but I haven’t had a facial since September 2008.

never.... do you know how much they cost here! my hands and nails are always in excellent condition though. i'm blessed with very white tips, i just file em nicely and put some clear or light coloured varnish and people think i've had a french manicure.

Facials - almost never.
Manis and Pedis - once a month.

gina, question for you... actually 2 questions...

How soon before the wedding should one get a facial?
I got a free facial appointment at the Sears Shiseido counter when I bought a shiseido line from them. That facial is around 2 weeks before my wedding [which is in Khi]
do you think I should get another facial when i go to Khi - like a week before my wedding? I'm taking care of my skin with cleansing, toning, moisturizing every day, and wearing SPF when I go out. So it's in good condition, but I;m wondering if it will get even better with another facial before the wedding?
(don't mind me saying this) how is it that you know so much about beauty stuff? Are you a beautician or make up artist of sorts?:)

1.) You should get a facial atleast 2 months prior to your wedding incase you breakout and react to any products. So get one right away! NOOOO to getting one a week before the wedding!

2.) yes :)

I try and get a facial every other month.. not very regular with manicures/pedicures (every month maybe) but I keep them in good condition.

Gina, InshAllah im getting married in feb,, 2months left. I've never ever had a manicure,pedicure before. And nopes no facials either.. when shud i start getting them. How many facials before the wedding?

Not regular with facials.

Although I do cleanse, tone, moisturize twice a day daily.

Manicures: Maybe once a month if I remember. Although I make it a habit to moisturize my hands frequently on a daily basis. I always apply lotion after washing them. And at night......I will sometimes apply olive oil as well.

Pedicures: Once a month if I remember. And it's usually around that time time of the month...........when I know that it's more convenient to apply nail polish since I won't be doing wudhu. That's when I make a scrubby mixture of olive oil, sugar, and lotion. I soak my feet in warm water to open the pores and then I massage my feet with the mixture. Scrub my toe nails. Rinse. Moisturize. Apply nail polish. And that's about it.

i used to get pedicures regularly a few years back (after all of GS made fun of my feet ) but not any more.

its sad, pedis/manis are super cheap here, i should get them regularly.

Never.... I do the bare minimum in home care as well but my hands feet and face is fine.

**i get facials done 3-4 times a month. i get a normal facial once a month and a soothing head, neck and face massage done 3 times or sometimes more in a month! oh gwad, it is very addictive and very very comforting esp after working all week!

i get my nails done twice a month as i wear white tips. **

Only for special occasions I don’t have the time to get em done. Going for a mani sometime this week though, gotta be nice and polished for Pakistan.

exactly the same here. even people dont believe their my nails, They ALWAYS say their fake. Mashallah im happy with them!

I am extremely irregular,the only regular thing I do is oil bath twice a week.I am very lazy in doing pedicure though i regularly use foot scrubs.

AS for facials,i read it somewhere that doing exfoliation is bad for dry skin.After that i am scared to do that.
