^ exfoliating is bad for the skin?? really?? umm no im pretty sure its not you knw it gets rid of dead skin and makes ur skin really soft! i love it!

not if you have sensitive skin with conditions like acne, eczema, psoriasis it can trigger more rashes, or breakouts. but that’s only if you have sensitive skin.

as for me i agree these things are so costly when I was in high school my mom paid for my salon services so i loved it and had facials every 2 months, highlights or my hair was always dyed, but i never liked nail salons. I did notice once you stop having facials your skin gets a bit out of wack but eventually it calms down and is back to normal so once you start you really ought to keep going. Also I will say that my pores got bigger but I used products for pore minimization and fixed that. Also the facialist liked to wax my nose to get blackheads out and now i have really fine hair on the sides…THATS NOT COOL.

As for nails I saw cousins get nail fungus issues so I always took it upon myself to take care of my own nails and the nails of family members that ask. i have a full kit and love it. I used to always have colored nails that were naturally long and now i just keep the nailpolish off and file them accordingly. Like another poster I got lucky and have white tips so they appear to have been done and using this cuticle cream keeps them shiny and strong:

I get facials every month, and mani/pedi's not as often...but lets say every 4 mths! I give myself Mani's...cause its pretty easy to do so...and cost effective ;)

I love when they do the massage part.....man is it ever relaxing...you could just fall asleep!!!

Very irregular but I try to do my facial myseld every month. For mani and pedi on special occasions

I do may own facials at home very regularly, i dont like how the salon walay noch my face everytime i go. As for mani/pedi, very rarely if ever do i go anymore.

hey gina i wanna buy some some basic stuff for pedicure mean scrub moister and tools and theor brand etc.plz guide me wat shuld i buy as i wanna do it my self here its really expensive 800 rupees for just pedicure.

I've never had a manicure :( Lost a tiny bit off the top of my little finger when I was at primary school and it still looks a bit skanky..

Polki u can soak u're feet in warm water and use a pumice stone to get rid of the dead skin.

Sally Hansen has great manicure/pedicute sets (same instruments are used for both actually)

U can use any foot cream even vaseline.

manis and pedis twice a month. Facial once or twice a year

facials- once atleast every 2-3 months.

manicure/pedicure- never! but i do keep good care of my feet by scrubbing,moisturizing regularly at home.

facials- every month!!

manicure- do it myself but every 2/3 months i get it done from nails inc.. pedicure only special occasions. i made the mistake of going to a chinese nail bar for a quick pedicure... got a veruccae. Thats all i needed to add to my feet woe's :(

Gina the hard skin spots are going... its just discolouration left ... shall i pumice stone them every day ?( is the body shop pumice stone any good?)

I do facials at home, but not alot b/c overdoing it isn't good.
Mani/Pedi whenever I feel the need to, don't really have a problem with those areas.

Manicure/Pedicure- Once every month or month and a half :)

Facial- Depends on my skin condition. Usually every 2/3 months or max 6 months if my skin doesnt need it :)

If i am in pakistan...mani/ pedi every 15 days, facial every month
If i am in Canada..... every 3 or 4 months

Manicure/Pedicure every month.. I change the polish at home whenever needed and facials once a month (usually)
