what about a shwarma....what is that counted as?

Here are some examples I found on the Internet. Many of the kababs resemble each other. There may be small differences in the ingredients.....and it might even be that multiple names are used for a single type of kabab.

boti kabab: is like chunks of boneless marinated/grilled meat.

chapli kabab:flat and round, made from minced beef, and I've often seen diced tomatoes in these kababs.....and that's how we make them as well.

doner kabab: roasted on a vertical rotating spit such as shawarma

galouti kabab:delicate kabab made from minced goat or beef meat....originates from Lucknow.

goolar kabab: minced lamb kababs with citrus filling

hara bhara kabab: made from vegetables
kakori kabab: origins in India. Made from minced goat meat and charcoal grilled. Often served with roomali roti.
kalmi kabab: has origins in Balochistan, popular in India. Is basically a marinated chicken drumstick that is cooked in a tandoor.

mahi kabab:fish kabab

malai kabab: similar to boti kabab but is marinaded with cream

nargisi kabab: contain egg

reshmi kabab:

seekh kabab

shami kabab: dipped in egg and fried

tangri kabab: is like a drumstick

Wow - there are a lot I haven't heard of or don't really know the differences of. Recipes and more explanations about what makes thm different would be great. I'm getting hungry!
