Tied-up, in a net (
), in a plait or just open?
My grandmother would always plait her hair when going to bed and I remember when I was little, my mum would plait mine too. Do you shed less hair if it is plaited? Does a plait make hair grow faster? What are your thoughts?

hey.. I used to plait it too! but now i just leave it opened to be honest. And my hair does sorta fall out more now when I think about it :s

i always have my hair up in a bun or a pony tail all day so at night i just take the hair tie off and go to bed :D

Tied in a high pony-tail on top of my head.
Can't sleep with it open cuz it pulls.
Ammi always said to tie it when I sleep....whether in pony-tail or plait. Yes, she did say that hair will grow longer the more you plait it......dunno how accurate that is......but it definitely stays healthier.

In a loose pony tail, with a thin hair tie. if I sleep with my hair opened it becomes a tangly nest by the morning.
