I believe it is perfectly okay to be bin bulaye mehmaan when all that food is being prepared. Khatti and Sehrysh as hosts are are just icing on the cake. :blush:

I had a open house last time - it’s a family tradition and I made my mama and phopho proud. Over 130+ guest came and went. I had hours from 12-6.

It was a lot of work so we are going out this time to a restaurant. No fuss no muss.

After Eid namaz my parents have an open house all throughout the day. Guests start coming by around mid-afternoon, my mom cooks from appetizers to main dishes like mutton pulao, chikar cholay, haleem, kebabs, puff pastries, malai chicken, saviyyan etc. This Eid I think my abbu is planning to BBQ his famous ‘seekh kebabs’ on the grill :yum:

Sehrysh, I would so love to host something like my mom and your sister does, but first gotta get theses babies ‘growned up’ :hehe:
