what if he's the intensely stubborn kind who sees no reason or logic in what she has to say? his word is law, not much happening in terms of compromise, what then?not all men and women are made the same way

A real man isn't going to be controlled by a woman, nor is a real woman going to want to control her man. Deep down women want a man to take charge and lead the way, they love that.
If you listen to your wife all the time and let her tell you what to do, deep down she will never respect you.

and the quote is by somebody that wasn't raised in a village. i know men that might not say this out loud or to this extreme but do think in a similar way or act it out by actions and they were raised in the big cities. It depends on the type of people they've been around or the ones they look up to.
