You either are listening to the wrong god, misinterpreting his word, or getting "he saids, she saids" based on ancient cultures confused with God's wishes. There is nothing to take up with God regarding this subject other than praying that he take the self righteousness, hatred and ignorance out of the hearts of those who want to throw people off cliffs or topple walls on them for being what God made them to be.

I cannot for a single moment believe that God would want us to kill another for living a partiicular lifestyle by choice or by genetic makeup, especially when the suposed offender is doing nothing to harm others. God may give me a 24/7 extra maiden in heaven for knocking off a few religious knucleheads though who harm others beause of their lifestyle or genetic makeup.

Well, as an example, you have an accident and need blood. Now this gay was passing by who had AIDS and then you get that blood which gives you AIDS. What would you say about this scenario?
A gay does harm the scoiety. If it becomes accepted surely the population growth rate would fall as many people may become gays and lesbians.

Who issued the fatwa that the narrow-minded are using to justify the execution of homosexuals? It sure isn't in the Quran. The anti-homosexual references in the Quran (and in the Bible) are minimal and not as serious as some followers make them out to be. Especially when the passages are interpreted as speaking to general lewdness, promiscuity and public displays.

Even IF you interpret this story as literal AND you interpret these people to be punished because of homosexuality and not general lewdness, rape, public displays, sodomy and promiscuity, you have to admit it is only 1 story in the Quran. There are very few other references to homosexuality, much more on relationships and sex in general. Surely if 5% of God's people are homosexual and if it is so wrong that they deserve death, there would be more references. Anyway, there is NOTHING in the Quran that says man is to execute homosexuals.

Yup, I was about to state this.
No where in the Quran or any Hadiths that I know of does it give human beings the right to kill gays. It was Allah mian who punished the people of Lut, not humans.
