I think the thread starter is being very misunderstood here - the complaint is about one person having a very light face and darker on the rest of the body but different all over....sounds like the gal may be using one sunscreen for face, another for neck and arms etc. Poor guy doesnt wanna marry a zebra yeah? Us gals DO tend to focus on face and put less effort into arms and even neck. Lesson to be learned!! Apply same SPF factors where ever sun can shine!

the gorification of desi girls is using the creams...basically topical steroids...what is it..fair and lovely, some pearl cream and stillman's bleach...i'll bet it's that but it's not good for the skin..actually thins the skins and ruins your complexion.
Anyhow...Ali with your attitude...a nasty surprise will be difficult for you to avoid...be it about color or other things.

such a non-issue. why dont you just meet the girl yourself and find out what she looks like and what she is really like instead of asking us to speculate the reason for her being fairer than her brothers?

I agree, the guy i snot ready for marriage, if his major concern is her skin tone and whether she is even toned. You do understand that u can get uneven skintone just by the way you tan. For example..let's say this gori girl goes out fo routdoor activity and is out under sun all day wearing a t-shirt..umm her face and arms would be super tan, but the res tof her body will be whitish. Ali your such a dork...plz for her sake and her family's sake, dont marry her. You'll just ruin her life :) I mean god forbid she became darker or sumthing happened to her...then what would u do?
