Re: Hindu Love
bitter but how can you say that? any explanation?
Re: Hindu Love
Agreed.. I think all religions fundamentally teach the same things.
there a religious person is probably better then on that isn’t –
however, there are certain strict guidelines that we (Muslims) can’t bend, marrying a fellow muslim being one of them. So to me the question posed is null adn void.
Re: Hindu Love
what happens if you fall in love with a hindu? would you make them convert? would you sin and elope?
(btw let me remind you that marrying hindus is not allowed in islam)
My friend married to a muslim girl according to Hindu tradition no opposition from any family
her name is afreen, she is our classmate, and she is very fair like a gori mem
we used to tease her if Half-Rin(Afreen) is this much fair what about Full- Rin( RIN is a Detergent soap in India), they are living happily from 7 yrs and she did keep her Roza this Ramazan

Re: Hindu Love
Well I converted to Islam upon marriage...I guess that makes me a back-stabber and cant be trusted or whatever couple of you have commented:-(
Re: Hindu Love
^ nope my comment was not directed towards that sweety. Alhamdullilah good to hear that you converted and may you stay on that path forever, AmeeN.
My comment was as I mentioned based on MY experience - the people I came across with. May be it was my badluck that each n everyone of em' whom I trusted - turned out to be backstabber. Don't feel bad about the comments - mostly people will be generalizing based on what they have been through.
My apologizes if my comment in anyway made you feel bad :-)
Re: Hindu Love
Hey..no bad feelings. Totally understand what you saying.
Sorry if you met people who turned out to be backstabber.
Re: Hindu Love

so now we should call you a back-stabber (:)
Re: Hindu Love
man I can’t believe the major amount of bigotry allowed by religion in this thread. My personal belief is that at the end of the day we’re all human beings regardless of our religion and point of views

Re: Hindu Love
Okay so I'm back to comment!
I dont like to be the voice of doom, but here goes:
When we see bollywood films in which the girl ultimately swaps religions we all get uptight about it and are like 'no, no', and so expecting the other person presumably indian to switch religion is just us being hypocyrites
I personally think u shouldnt push people into it or give them an ultimatum of 'switch religion or I wont get married with u', I guess what I'm saying is that it should be the choice the person wanting to change religion and they should be the ones questioning them selve whether it's the right thing for them
NB. usually from what I have experienced if a couple is in love they will get married regardless of their religious difference they have, I know this isnt acceptable in islam and infact the marriage isnt even recognised, but if u know the person and love them that much, presumably u've been going out with them already and so u know what ur putting urself in for so when it goes to taking the relationship further u have obviuosly thought of the consequences and it's little late for u to say 'turn muslim or else'
