what happens if you fall in love with a hindu? would you make them convert? would you sin and elope?

u can marry a jew or a christian if you are a guy but that also is not liked
muslim women can only marry muslim men.

She knew we were not allowed to marry non muslim/christian/jew.

jews and christians would fall under abrahamic religions, i was referring to parsi's, sikhs, budhists etc all of whom fall under the non-abrahamic category.

well, you can't make anyone convert... thats not a true conversion then and you're marriage is still a sham, religiously speaking. if you fall in love with anyone who is not an "ehley kitaab", then i guess you're screwed :P

well if he converts thats a different story but if he don't then obviously no chance. Def. wouldn't want anyone to convert b/c of me - would be better if he converts for Allah, b/c later it can cause problems. I hate to say this - but from personal xperience I know these ppl are known for backstabber.
