Re: Hezbollah terror chief Imad Mughniyah killed in explosion
Most of comments above shows typical South Asian ( Slave) mentality, This guy, fought against the forces occupied his country, if he was a terrorist, then all freedom fighter like Bhagat Singh and Chandar Shekhar Azad were terrorist too.
For Slaves, it is the best situation when a govt. changes, they just come out lick feets of their new ruler and help him out ruling the country...For Man of dignity, the same attitude is not possible... so they retalliate, i personally never knew about Imad, but i admire all the persons who fight ( in any way) against the occupation of their homeland.

STOP PRESS: i think we’ve made some progress. Still a long way to go, but your right on track an its taken a while, but you finally hit the nail on the head. Keep it up :k:
Re: Hezbollah terror chief Imad Mughniyah killed in explosion
Well it’s obvious that whatever Muslims are doing is certainly keeping them on top. :halo:
Whether you consider the Biblical Jesus mythical or not, turning the other cheeck is a far more Godly attribute than yielding the sword. Too bad mankind is not ready for that message.

Yes, that's what the African slaves were told. Thanks for your interpretation of a God that doesn't want you to have dignity and wants you to have a life of misery under oppression.

^
A god who wants you to blow up children to save your dignity??
What children were blown up? We are talking about occupation. Don't go off on unnecessary and unintellectual tangents. What about Arab children being blown to bits by Israel in Qana? They are called collateral damage.
Re: Hezbollah terror chief Imad Mughniyah killed in explosion
not quite. but you get the picture...
Fuzzy picture, but it's okay. Send some more Marines to Beirut for no reason why don't you? They'll end up homeless and begging in front of the White House anyway.
Re: Hezbollah terror chief Imad Mughniyah killed in explosion
Yes, that's what the African slaves were told.
Europeans were involved in the African slave trade for 3 centuries, whereas Arabs have been involved for 14 centuries. In parts of the Muslim world it is still continuing to this day. You might want to be more careful before flame throwing.

If it pleases you to think God is in favor of killing, good for you. Personally I don't think that is God's ultimate plan for mankind.

And where did I condone Arab slavery, which by the way was very different than European slavery, but that's a different topic.

Who knows what God thinks or what he is in favor off? It's all a matter of interpretation. I don't think God wants us to bend over and take it from whoever attacks us, without standing up for your rights, either.

If you were trying to indicate the doctrine of turning the other cheek somehow adversely affected Africans you are wrong. But you are right about the differences in slavery. There were many more that went to the Middle East and many more that died, used as sex slaves and warriors and were not permitted to marry and have children.

You are right, it's all up to ones own interpretation. No one really does know, do they?

And most African-Americans would disagree along with Africans in Africa today. The doctrine of turning the other cheek can be used and was used as a prerequisite for slavery; along with other forms of subjugation and colonization.

not that i have the intention, but why on earth would i wanna do that?
Re: Hezbollah terror chief Imad Mughniyah killed in explosion
Use search function. But Americans and other Western powers cannot and should not expect Muslims to "turn the other cheek". Ever.
Dude, I know my slave history, apparently you are the one who needs use a search function.
Even most Christians (and for sure their governments) don't follow "turn the other cheek", so I don't think anyone expects Muslims to. Nothing in their history is going to lead anyone to believe that.

How about the children killed in the 1992 Israeli Embassy attack that left many Argentine children dead, you see it also destroyed a church and school nearby. And what does a Jewish Community Center in Argentian have to do with occupation?? That 1994 bombing left over 80 civilans dead and over 300 hurt.
