I,m from England so why not there you say,well my hubby has a sister in America and it would be easier for him to have a relative nearby,I,m easy going and inshallah I believe if I can live in Pakistan I can live anywhere…
another factor would be finance conversion from rupees to $ would help us more than conversion to £
The thing I need help with is
1.which state
2.dont want to be too close to said sister (dont want to cramp each other living style)
3.dont want to live in over populated desi area
4.but dont want to be in an all white or ghetto either
5.would like to move to up end small house or serviced apartment
6.willing to travel approx 1 hour for halal meat shop,mosque etc…
7.would love your positive feedback…

what is going to be your source of livelihood? are you rich? if money isn't an issue, you should move to southern california.. lots of neighbourhoods that'd fit your requirements..

have you already secured the green card? i believe if ur hubby is being sponsored by his sister, it may take years [10-15years] before he would actually get the papers...am i right?
but we have british passports,so plan to apply from there...
but first I need to know what state I am moving to and whether the upheaval is possible or too much
how exactly are you planning to move here if you do not have green card? british citizens can be here 6 months at a time? and are not allowed to work as visitors.
its a huge country, different areas have different weather patterns, cost of living and career opportunities.
