wow, 90%. I am surprised how this trend is increasing in Pakistan. Is your family quite religious and have always worn hijabs or is this something that has happened over the last few years?. I hope no one is forcing them to do that.
Most of my relatives are quite conservative and no they're not forced...

ohh come on like u guys never ever talked about sex with ur fiance(the once who got them) just because they talked about sex doesnt mean they talk about it in detail. the girl was maybe feeling nervous and asked her fiance that maybe they should wait to do it until their honeymoon, or until they are more comfortable or what ever reason she wanted to wait and maybe thats why the topic of sex came up? who knows why? and frankly speaking its none of our business anyway, why or how they came to talk about sex.
The topic starter asked about what her cousin should do about it and the answer is HE IS A BIG LIER everyone knows what sex is even if u live in pakistan. now a days everyone knows, if not by media than by internet, beside google had a list about what people from different countries google about and guess what! google ranks pakistan NO 1 in the world in searches that have to do with sex like donkey sex or porn according to google trends and google insight. if u guys dont believe me than check it out urself. I would provide the link but I only got the danish article but I know for a fact that everyone knows how to google in this forum.

Not necessarily. I saw plenty of burqa-clad women in Lahore. I'd say 80% of them were in abaya/hijab (lets say 90% of THOSE were made up of my own relatives )
Burqa clad is rare, I don't know where you went but I honestly don't see many burqas everyday. I did not include hijab in this btw, my mum for example wears the hijab but she doesn't wear a burqa.

^ Im serious, I stayed in Lahore (visited mostly defense/auriga/liberty), I know there were a good amount of women who wore regular clothing but mainly in defense.

Ok this is a random thread. Just had to share with you guys!
A cousin of mine is engaged to a guy from Lahore...shes from the UK and they were talking and it emerged that he doesnt know what sex is. Like at all. He doesn't have any knowlege of how babies are made etc. He doesnt know what it is. Neither does he understand the concept of rape cos he doesnt know what it is.
My cousin is feeling a little weird about this. They are getting married next year IA and it is worrying to her that he doesnt even have the basic idea as to what it is etc....he said he was never taught it in school...nothing....
She said she doesnt even know how to explain it to him....At frst she thought he was pulling her leg but obviously not!
for me its quite shocking that they were having such conversation before marriage.
anyhow its impossible to believe that he doesnot know what sex, rape etc are. it doesnot mean that if you didnot get any education about it in school then you wont know it. if he is serious then god help him. if he is lying just for fun or for some other gain then its very bad.
plus if its bothering your cousin too much she should talk to her mother and should explain it all (this may be hard) but she should if she wants any sincere advice.
