I see nothing wrong with mercenery2k's comments. He stated a fact that the part of NYC is a tough neighbourhood...that dos not look like a justification but just added info for people who dont know the type of area. Additionally, if we do not want the actions of a few idiots to define our faith, we should be careful when we are doong this. I recall a couple of years ago, some idiot arab kids shot up a rabbis car in Chicago. The only people attributing it to all muslims and Islam were prejudiced bigots...

so, the proper thing would be to state that rather than launchign attacks on him as were launched as soon as he posted his comments.

Similarly, those of us who are quick to note that actions of a few criminls who are muslim should not be attributed to all muslims, should also have the same approach when ppl of other faith are being streotyped. Lets be fair.

Okay, okay my bad I should have managed my anger a little better but I'm yet to meet a nice Jew and there's loads of Jews in Manchester, I'm not the only one who feels that way, my mate use to work for one and he's white, he feels the same way, people hate them for a reason.

Another white lad I know who is of partial Polish Jewish descent himself (he's Protestant but goes to a Catholic church because of his gf) feels the sameway about them, he knows about the myth about Pashtuns being descended from the Bani Israel so he jokingly calls me a "filthy Jew" and if we're both working saturdays he makes it as anti-Sabbath as possible by making Jewish jokes. :D

They didn't deserve the holocaust but they can be ... sometimes, just look at Jack Straw the MP who started the bashing on veiled Muslimah's.

it really is upsetting that we take it in, as a sort of a fact in life, merely because we are believers,
we are too nice and too malleable. we must stop being so.

I've plenty of friends, from school and previous work, who believe in a pluralistic society, & then there is something called humanity. we need to be able to find justice for all, & also be able to patiently see what can make our world peaceful for everyone.

evil doers will always exist, so is told in Quran. every person or every nation possessed with Iblis, is going to be insensitive. that is the very job of Shetaan - to make humans become cruel devils.

but, we are also told to be effective in our methods when it comes to putting a stop to such uncalled for provocations, injustices and disruptions in peaceful living.

would it not be nice, that instead of getting into a hot debate which is pointless, in name calling each other, people could get together and say, let’s just keep ourselves free of grudges and move on with our lives & NOT cause any further encroachments on each others’ lands, not desecrate each others’ religions & religious symbols, & live as proper as we can.

Cain and Able’s story, Nimrod’s story, story of israelites, &stories of older civilizations & their rise and fall, as well that of modern day nations in recent history extol that wherever there have been bad leaders and corrupt agents within the societies - who had operated merely for their self-serving petty motives, all point to the injustices done & their ignoble ends.
so why bother getting ahead of each other, because you know just as well as anybody else, that aggression is ever perpetual.

unless, we all want to end the world in a purposeless, shameless manner, displaying discord and causing mischief, as prophesied as a warning in our holy scriptures.

I don’t consider myself British by nationality anymore, despite the paperwork I’m simply a resident of Britain who will obey its laws, pay his taxes and be cooperative and courteous with fellow residents whether they are foreigners like myself or native British national citizens till my stay here.

How can I consider myself British after I heard a native white person say “Amir Khan the big nosed Paki rat should fight for Pakistan, Bangladesh or wherever else he comes from because simply being born here doesn’t make him British”? I’ve also heard stuff about how coffee coloured Theo Walcott shouldn’t have been allowed to play for England in the world cup because England is a white country and needs to represented as such.

If they don’t accept those who are the flag bearers of their country, what makes me think I’ll be accepted by them? What’s the point in kidding myself? It’s not a nice feeling trying to be a part of a group you’re not wanted by and have to make an active effort to try and make yourself feel a part of it.

There’s many personal racist incidents which come to mind but I wont mention them here, I’ve memorised some juicy comebacks and thorough knowledge of their peoples history to use when the need arises, my chav cousin on the other hand when told to go back home will turn around and tell them “we’re here to use and abuse your country’s facilities, what you gonna do about it”, lol it always sends them fuming but I’m too polite to do that and it doesn’t serve any purpose so I put them in their place by telling them their “glorious” history and I go over current affairs from our perspective so that they never get the cheek to tell us they’re doing us a favour by letting us live here.

I don’t consider myself Pakistani either, my people are exploited by the bureaucracy in Pakistan and are made a mockery out of by the dominant ethnic groups there who call us khochi (gypsies?), nasvarkhor etc. so why should I want to be associated with them? Not to mention the cultural imperialism which can destroy our very identity the gift of our ancestors to us. There was once the “Muslim bhai bhai” argument but Pakistan is hardly Islamic and Islam doesn’t say to let hypocrites rule and exploit you in its name. Untill the blessed Caliphate is restored my people in the Pakistan and Afghanistan controlled areas should work for the liberation of their lands from these countries to form a Pashtun state, maybe not in my lifetime but I want my children and grandchildren to live with their heads held high even if it be in poverty.

I don’t want to be recognised with any group who do not want me and disdain me. When it comes to identity first and foremost I am a Muslim and that’s my permanent-universal identity and then when it comes to temporal identities which I am not arrogant about but I have a soft spot for in my heart I am a Pashtun and I identify with my tribe, simple, identifying with a name given to the land I live by a certain State who rule it holds no value to me anymore.

It’s so nice when you know who you are and you know you truly belong, it’s a nice warm and snug feeling. Wannabes never feel selfrespect, peace and contentment because no matter how much they try and change and kiss backside they’ll never be truly accepted as something they’re not.

Ok so any updates on the court case? Anyone start a petition or find an address we can mail letters to? I just moved to Queens (from North Carolina) so I'm still getting situated, but will contact the Attorney listed hopefully today. Let's stop the arguing and focus on the issue at hand and start doing some action. Let's get these criminals in jail for a very long time.
