Whether it is the agencies or the TTP pigs, the criminals should be arrested and punished. But like with Liaqat Ai Khan and BB murders or the missing persons saga, truth may remain hidden from us for ever esp. if the agencies are indeed involved in this cowardly attack on Mir.
Several news sources are reporting that surgery has been a success and Hamid Mir is out of danger. We wish him quick and speedy recovery. We sincerely hope that his friends and family will find the strength to get through this difficult time. We also hope to see the ones responsible caught and punished to the fullest extent of the law.

We wish Hamid Mir a speedy recovery, and urge the government of Pakistan to bring all those responsible for these attacks on the media to justice."

What the hell are you talking about… In Pakistan you are guilty until proven innocent… Any accusation against Pak or any of its institution is concrete proof of guilt… Guilty as charged.
This is what I meant earlier, Pakistani military has a pretty strong PR for an army that has less than impressive CV. I'm being polite here by restricting my vocabulary. I could've used the word useless or pathetic looking.
I belong to a semi Military family and I even I don't have the guts to ask what exactly is so impressive about Pakistan army to my own Grandfather and paternal side of the family. I'm obviously in no mood to be disowned, but it's a fascinating subject, such a mystery. I will get to the bottom of it one day.
Maligning the ISI and the Army itself by a foreign funded national TV channel like GEO was not a very wise move. In this era of free media even in US and UK, they are not allowed to openly malign and accuse their national institutions without any evidence.
GEO and its anti-Pakistan propaganda machine must be shut down. Mushy was right in banning GEO
