The way GEO behaved, they should be banned and PMLN government should be kicked out of office.
Just imagine, many suspects that shooting at Hamid Mir was collaboration of Nawaz government, GEO and Hamid Mir. Hamid Mir consented to get shot in order that GEO start campaign of maligning ISI and demanding sacking of ISI chief (what Nawaz Shareef wants so that he can bring in a person of his choice).
Now, if any media house starts speculative programs day and night on above speculative suspicion, calling for ban on GEO, calling Nawaz Shareef and PMLN team to resign from government, calling prison for GEO anchors and owners for propagating lies. Showing pictures of Nawaz and Shakeel-ur-Rahman as traitors on various count.
Would that be right behaviour and demands from any media house?
Anyhow … I think that whatever is happening in Pakistan is sign of coming military rule again. With time, cause of military takeover is getting closer and closer.

The Newspapers of Jang Group have been banned in the offices of the Pakistan Army, say media reports.
According to media reports, Pakistan Army made this announcement Wednesday (today).
Moreover, Geo Tv transmission has also been banned in the Army offices. Jang Group’s newspapers and watching Geo Tv and have also been banned in Army Mess and lounges.
The news channel has breached the code of conduct by accusing Director General (DG) of the ISI Lt. Gen. Zaheerul Islam of masterminding the attempt on senior journalist Hamid Mir.

This really shows the mentality of uniformed guys. Pathetic comes to mind. Their over inflated ego is hurt. It is not like ISI has not been involved in dirty tricks before.

They should find out the culprit and prove that allegations were false .

A daring article. It is a shame that agency came after its own people. I hope the agency will not harm this gentleman. Some one should bring them to courts of Pakistan and be punished for involving in heinous crimes against people of Pakistan.
