HADITH ABOUT HZ. ALI RA

Ali bin Abu-Talib (r.a.) said: “The Messenger of Allah called me and told me: ‘You are alike with Jesus, Jews hated him till they slandered his mother, and Christians loved him till they put him in the position that is not for him.’ With regard to me, two categories of people will be ruined, namely he who loves me too much and the love takes him away from rightfulness, and he who hates me too much and the hatred takes him away from rightfulness. Verily, I am not a prophet, and there is nothing revealed to me. But I work with the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of his Prophet () as much as I can. So whatever I have asked you in regard of obeying Allah, it is your duty to obey me whether you like it or not.” [Ahmad]

Ali (r.a.) said: “With regard to me, two categories of people will be ruined, namely he who loves me too much and the love takes him away from rightfulness, and he who hates me too much and the hatred takes him away from rightfulness. The best man with regard to me is he who is on the middle course. So be with him and be with the great majority (of Muslims) because Allah’s hand (of protection) is on keeping unity.” [Nahjul Balagha, sermon 126 about the Kharijites]

In the that time, people who called them selves Muslims were three groups :
1- Kharijites who said that Ali Ra was a disbeliever and they send Ibn Muljim to kill him and he did that.
2- Shia who said that he was infalleble Imam and Allah had chosen him for leading Muslims.
3- Sunnies ( Majority of Muslims ) who said that he was a great companion of the prophet and he was a great leader to Muslims but Muslims had chosen him to be thier leader not make him ra God nauzubillah (as rafidah did).
Who are the people of the middle course & the great majority (of Muslims) as Imam Ali said in his sermon, Read Ali’s words and then look to the three groups and you will find the answer!

"shias" who considered him an infallible imam ( like 12ers ) did not even exist in those days ...as their concept of imamate is a much later invention

some ghalis reportedly did exist but they were neither supporters of sayyidna Ali nor did he employed them, they were closer nusairees
Sunnies ( Majority of Muslims ) who said that he was a great companion of the prophet and he was a great leader to Muslims but Muslims had chosen him to be thier leader not make him ra God nauzubillah (as rafidah did).
and what to make of those who did not accept him as the leader ?

his haters were not only the khawarij but also the nawasib i.e those people of shaam and banu ummayyah who killed his supporters and cursed him in sermons.

The way i see things ...

Today there are three kind of muslims
1. who love Ali a.s so much that they call him ALLAH (na-aozobillah)
2. who claim that Imam Ali a.s was just like us ....
3. who are in middle not callin him Allah neither calling him like themselves, calling him Imam Ali a.s

Other way to see this is who is away from rightfulness

calling anyone Allah is shirk.
and praising enenmies of Imam Ali is not rightful either
So love him enough that u dont praise people who went on wars against em rather do tabara on em and dont love him so much that u compare him with ALLAH.

wasalam
Aqeel

your point no. 3 is very very funny, since all aware and thouse persons who read al-kafi fully aware that what you ppl'e beliefs regarding ali ra even islam and quran does not teach us about imammat and there were no claim of imammat from hz. ali ra and his offspring.

^ok so Shias, ahl faris, ahl biddah, Abdullah Ibn Sabah and Hasham B Hakam got togteher one day and made up the idea of Imamat and somehow managed to bring proofs from the quran too. well even if i believed u, i will still take still take it over the idea of khilafat as introduced by umar. did quran teach us khialfat or was it umar again who seemed to know and understnd the need of the muslims more than the Prophet?

and do tell me wht u know abt Al-Kafi since u seem obsessed with it. wht do u know abt it and its writer? have u read it or its got shia magic words in it that make u lose iman and believe under the uinfluence of their magic?

our beloved prophet pbuh left on ummah that ummah will select leader and for your information allah creater of universe creat human as their kalifa not imam.

Honour and glory belongs only to Allah Ta’ala. He grants virtue, merit and dignity to whomsoever He pleases. When Allah Himself accords anyone with status, no mortal being has a hand in disgracing or degrading him without himself being humiliated. After the Ambiyaa (AS), Allah has conferred great status to Hadhrath Abu Bakr (Radhiallaahu Ánhu). He has made reference to him in the Qur’aan and also via the blessed tongue of Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam). Besides, the love that Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam) had for Hadhrath Abu Bakr (Radhiallaahu Ánhu), and the love which Hadhrath Abu Bakr (Radhiallaahu Ánhu) had for Allah Ta’ala, for Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam), and for Islam is irrefutable.

Verses of the Qur’aan regarding Hadhrat Abu Bakr (Radhiallahu Anhu)

Allah Ta’ala says:
"If you do not help Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam), then Allah Ta’ala assisted him when the unbelievers drove him out, he was one of the two when the two were in the cave, and he said to his companion, " Do not grieve for indeed Allah is with us." Then Allah sent down his Sakeenah (peace) on him."

Commenting on this verse, Hadhrath Ali (Radhiallaahu Ánhu) states, " In this Ayah, Allah Ta’ala reprimanded the entire world besides Hadhrath Abu Bakr (Radhiallaahu Ánhu) for not Assisting Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam). Moreover Allah has praised and commended Hadhrath Abu Bakr (Radhiallaahu Ánhu)." Allah Ta’ala refers to Hadhrath Abu Bakr (Radhiallaahu Ánhu) as "Thaniyathnain" (the second of the two). Imaam Qurtubi states, "It is evident from this term that Hadhrath Abu Bakr (Radhiallaahu Ánhu) is the automatic Khalifa after Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam). The "second" of a leader is his successor." (Qurtubi v8 , p147). Further, Allah Ta’ala refers to Hadhrath Abu Bakr (Radhiallaahu Ánhu) as "Sahib" which signifies companion. Hence his "Sahabiyat" (companionship with Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam) has been evident and established in the Qur’aan. He enjoys the virtue of bieng the only sahabi whose companionship with Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam) is mentioned in the Qur’aan. Allah Ta’ala relates the words of Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam), " for indeed Allah is with us." Allah will only be with the true believers. Hence the Ayah firmly establishes the strong imaan of Hadhrath Abu Bakr (Radhiallaahu Ánhu). In Sura Ash Shams Allah refers to Hadhrath Abu Bakr as "Atqa" (The most righteous). Allah Ta’ala declares, "The most honoured in the eyes of Allah is the most righteous among you." From this it is ascertained that Hadhrath Abu Bakr (Radhiallaahu Ánhu) was the most superior personality among the Sahabah.

Ahadith pertaining to Hadhrath Abu Bakr’s (Radhiallaahu Ánhu) virtues

Hadhrath Aa’isha (Radhiallaahu Ánha) relates that Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam) said to her in his last illness, "call Abu Bakr, your father and your brother to me so that I may write out a declaration, for certainly I fear that an aspirant may aspire or someone may say, " I (am worthy of the Khilafah) while Allah and the believers would desire none besides Abu Bakr." (Muslim). This Hadith bears ample testimony that Hadhrath Abu Bakr is the only sahabi who had the right to the Khilafah after Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam). In another hadith Hadhrath Aa’isha (Radhiallaahu Ánha) relates, "Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam) said, "It is not appropriate for anyone else to lead the congregational salaah in a nation in which Hadhrath Abu BAKR (Radhiallaahu Ánhu) IS PRESENT." (Thirmidhi). This hadith suffices to establish the superiority of Hadhrath Abu Bakr over all other sahabah. It is evident that the most superior is most eligible and qualified to asume the Khilafat after Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam).

Hadhrath ibn Umar (Radhiallaahu Ánhu) relates that Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam) said, "I will be the first to be raised from my grave (on the day of judgement), thereafter Abu Bakr and then Umar (will be raised). (Thirmidhi)

To be raised with Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam) indicates the imaan of Hadhrath Abu Bakr (Radhiallaahu Ánhu). This hadith proves that Hadhrath Abu Bakr left this world with imaan and he will rise on the Day of Qiyaamah with imaan.

May Allah Ta’ala grant us true love for Hadhrath Abu Bakr and all the sahaba (Radhiallaahu Anhum) and Nabi (Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam).

Now lets have my take into the topic:

In the that time, people who called them selves Muslims were three groups :

1- Kharijiteswho said that Ali was a disbeliever and they send Ibn Muljim to kill him and he did that. Then Nawasib like you who who love, respect and follow those of your ancestors who were open Nawasib and used to hate, curse, oppose and fight Ali bin Abi Talib [as]. The first extreme.

2 - Nuseries who deemed Ali bin Abi Talib [as] as God [Nauzobillah]. The second extreme.

3- Shias who said that he was infalleble Imam and Allah had chosen him for leading Muslims, based on textual proofs. The middle course.

Re: HADITH ABOUT HZ. ALI RA

This topic has been beaten to death.

However, one misconception that Shias do have is that Sahabas cursed, hated, and opposed Ali r.a. out of their own evils is one of the most fabricated lies in the history of Islam.

The love and respect Sahabas had for Ali r.a is utterly incomparable to the muslims of today.

It would have been better had you made the comment after doing some search on this topic, making assertions and comments on others without even bothering to go into the depth of the topic is not the habit of learned ones but of ignorant ones. Anyways, to summarize the dogma you adhere to, let me just quote a single statement from a man revered by the masses and known for his Shia hatred i.e. Ibn Tamiyah who in his book Minhaj al Sunnah, Volume 7, page 137-138 stated:

و لم يكن كذلك علي فان كثيرا من الصحابة و التابعين كانوا يبغضونه و يسبونه و يقاتلونه

"Verily plenty of Sahaba and Tabayeen used to hate, abuse and fight against Ali."

Well, the real misconception is that Sahaba who did curse, hate, and oppse Imam Ali (as) were loyal to the Prophet of Islam & his message. Read: Battle of Basorrah/Jamal, Battle of Siffein and who led first civil wars within Islam against the rule of Imam Ali and persistently disobeyed him.

The real Sahaba who loved the Prophet and his message, like Hazrat Abuzar Ghaffari, Ammar Yasir, and people like Maitham Tammar, Mohammad son of Abu Bakr, Malik Ashtar, may Allah reward them loved Imam Ali (as) and ended up sacrificing their lives for the household of the Prophet (saww).

The Holy Prophet (saww) said:

"Certainly, my Ahl al-Bayt will after me be unjustly tortured and murdered; and the most hateful of people towards us are Banu Umayyah, Banu Mughirah and Banu Makhzum."

Mustadrak, Vol. 4, p. 487

Al-Hakim declares it sahih.

Sorry to say but the very first few lines contradict eachother. First you must ponder & decide whether Allah the Almighty grants or the people?

Re: HADITH ABOUT HZ. ALI RA

what utter nonsense.

kharijites seprates from hz. ali ra;s army when they are going to make agreement with hz. amir muawiah ra bin hz. abu suffyan ra, they called killers of hz. usman ra also.

there are no religion between islam and nuseries, since nuseries you may found them only in nepal the are worshipper of powerfull person.

shia there are 1000 sect in shia religion, some one do beliefs that hz. ali ra was god (nauzubillah) there are no religion between hz. ali ra and shia since hz. ali ra did not announced that they are imam and afer nabuwat imammat is start, also not found in quran and hadith. and also there are100 thousand of sahabies no one claim and admit such beliefs even more 11 so called imams of 12er did not announced such thing also.

and interesting thing is that hz. ali ra named there sons named on first three khalif, and funny thing is that thouse sons were borned in era of these three leaders of ummah.

Re: HADITH ABOUT HZ. ALI RA

This shows tyour ignorance, no Shia deem Ali bin Abi Talib [as] as god and the only sect that held this absrud belief was Nuseries, the other extreme mentioned in the cited Hadith. And you did mention the Khawarib but cunningly left your own sect i.e. Nasibi cult, which was another extreme as I had mentioned.

As for your stupid logic of naming, its an open challenge to you to bring one authentic proof which shows that Ali bin Abi Talib [as] named his sons 'because of' the first three caliphs, but I know, as usual you are going to stick to the habit you have learnt from your heroes i.e. to run away from challenges.

Re: HADITH ABOUT HZ. ALI RA

producing below some beliefs of shai from there authentic books.

 1. There is no difference between ALLAH and Ali (r.a) such as in the virtues for; The master of Khatim-e-Suleman, The Master of Doomsday, The master of Siraat (The Bridge over Hell) and Renaissance Field, The Creator of leaves on the trees, The one who ripens the fruits, The one who continued fountains, The one who made drift in the canals (Na'uzubillah). [Jila-ul-A'yoon, Vol#2, Pg#85 – Published Lahore]
 2. To call ALLAH Omnipresent and Omniscient is against faith (Na’uzubillah). [Jila-ul-A’yoon, Vol#2, Pg#85 – Published Lahore]
 3. Muhammad (s.a.w.w) and his descendants are omnipresent and omniscient, and it is only theirs quality, not of ALLAH’s (Na’uzubillah). [Jila-ul-A’yoon, Vol#2, Pg#85 – Published Lahore]
 4. ALLAH when talks about blessings, does so in Persian and when talks about persecution does so in Arabic (Na’uzubillah). [Tareekh-e-Islam, Pg#163 – Published Lahore]
 5. Shiite confession of faith “LA ILAHA IL-ALLAH-U MUHAMMAD-UR RASOOL-ULLAH ALI-UN WALI-ULLAH WASI-U RASOOL-ULLAH WA KHALIFA-TU BILA FASL” (Na’uzubillah). [Tohfa Namaz Ja’fariyah, Pg#10 – Published Lahore]
 6. Wherever Quran referred the word “RABB”, it meant as Ali (r.a) (Na’uzubillah). [Jila-ul-A’yoon, Vol#2, Pg#66 – Published Lahore]
 7. Original Quran will not come into view till the manifestation of Imam Mehdi (SHIAs 12th Imam) (Na’uzubillah). [Anwaar-ul-Na'umania, Vol#2, Pg#360 - Published Iran]
 8. Collectors of Quran eliminated virtues of Prophet’s progeny from Surah Al-Ahzab which was about to the length of Surah Al-Bakrah (Na’uzubillah). [Haq-ul-Yaqeen, Pg#66 - Published Iran]

One is amazed to see that the Shiites weep over the martyrdom of Imam Hussein(ra) whereas they never weep over the martyrdom of his brother Abu Bakr ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib and over the martyrdom of his son Abu Bakr. Those who bear those names are from the Ahlul Bayt also. Why negligence? Is it because they have names which are disliked by the Rafadhis and by announcing it to their Shiite listeners would expose the love of the Ahlul Bayt to the companions especially to Abu Bakr and Umar?

Shiite muhaditeen like Abu Faraj al-Isfahani in his Muqatil at-Talibeen-p.88,142,188; Al-Arbali in his Kashful Ghumamah vol.2,p.64; and Majlisi in Jila el-ou’ioun 582 stated that amongst those who were martyred with Hussein in Karbala were Abu Bakr ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib and Abu Bakr ibn Hussein ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib.
Why doesn’t the ceremonies held during Ashoora not mention the names of the following who were martyred with Hussein:
Umar ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib
Abu Bakr ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib
Uthman ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib
Abu Bakr ibn Hassan ibn Ali
Umar ibn Hassan ibn Ali
Abu Bakr ibn Hussein ibn Ali
Umar ibn Hussein ibn Ali
Uthman ibn Hussein ibn Ali.

Is it because that the likes of Abu Bakr and Umar wiped out the Sassanid arrogance and for this reason mentioning their names are unbearable?

Muhammad Ali Mu’zi, an Iranian Shiite researcher in France has stated with pride: “The basic fundamentals of the Zoroastrian religion has entered into Shiaism even in some minute issues. The marriage of Imam Hussein with the daughter of the last Sassanid Empire is a symbol of ancient Iran as Shahrbano became the first mother or lady for the Iranian nation. And this relationship marked the brotherhood between Shiaism and the ancient Magian Iran.”

Once again you resorted to copy paste stuff which you yourself never have seen in terms of context etc.
