^ i dont know really but i seem to have a problem with the treadmil too :D lol i just cant keep at it for more than 20 mins...i mean i hate when its the turn for treadmill...they gotta make it interesting or somethin..i dont know how people run at it for an hours and at such high speeds....crazie
i use to go to a near by park (in houston USA)...tradmills are too borning...
n i use to be the same way (out of breath after 10 mins) but u have to build it up..it took me like 4 months...to be able to run for like 20 mins at a time.

Oh my! 4 months? Whoa! I went running for the 1st time 2 weeks ago and after 5mins i had to stop and rest for 5mins and then start again. Thought i did my share of running for 10mins and went home! Haha...
the park i use to go to had a trail that was 2 miles one way...i make myself run as much and didn'y turn around...and guess what once u r on the end of that 2 mile track...u have to do another 2 to come back to get to the car...that work for me...n thats what i hate abt treadmills...i get bored and get off of it asap.
ohh people..i am falling in love with my treadmill...it is an enjoyment for me to run/brisk walk on treadmill...and yeah i am so happy with the scales..thurs was an off day for me being the weekend and from friday i am back to my routine alhamd....just had some thai food last night along with a nice slice of Tiramisu and i hope its not bad:D..once in a week:P
Aarrgghhh... i would love to stay on the treadmill for more than 5mins or go running for more than 5-10mins...but i get so out of breath...my throat just starts stinging...

try chewing minty gum like winterfresh while running. I have the same problem because of my allergies...I tend to get a very dry mouth while running (it is definitely not dehydration because I drink enough water).chewing gum really helps me extend my workout. it keeps the saliva running so your mouth doesnt get dry.

I usually watch reruns of south park and futurama these days during my treadmill time... Watching bender while running makes it so much more interesting.

i do that sometimes...and i agree it does help.
also listening to techno extends my running time .....1hr can easily be a 2hr run :D
did traps and biceps today.. didnt workout much since there were many girls today at the gym for some reason and i wasnt feeling comfortable working out and them looking at me all the time! :( .. I always end up working other body parts that i dont intend.
^ better to avoid the tread for a day or two sd! Back in 2007 I sprained my ankle, and showed up the next day thinking it'll be ok, it took 3 weeks for me to get back to the gym because of that.
