when you start gymming take a good look at your body and determine which part is perfect and doesnt need to be worked out. Cause eventually a time will come when you will quit the gym or a long break might come and then when you get out of shape the part that was already perfect will get messed up aswell so it's better not to touch it.. let it be the way it is.
I normally work my abs and legs, my bum is pretty fine so I dont mess with it cause when and if I quit I dont want to be dragging a 40 inch sack of flesh behind me :D
well good maham u have started this thread...the problem with me is the same ....i am unable to continue my exercise...i only walk at treadmill and varying the speed from 2 kph to 5.6 ...5.6 is my limit so far...its usually said that do 5 to 10 mins a workout of low intensity and then brisk walking and for the last 5 to 10 mins do a workout of low intensity again(cool down)...but people here have quoted that they even start from 7.0 mph and finally upto 8 mph till u r done...r u not supposed to lower the speed when u r ending ur workotu sess on treadmill?
Take it slowly, ure doing just fine. I used to do 5.0 when I started, for half an hour. Gradually bumped it up, over the span of a few months, and now I start at 7.0mph, and then increase .2mph every 5 minutes and go upto 8mph by the time I'm done. I keep a 2.0 incline as that makes it tougher and targets my thighs for resistance training. Just be patient and stick to the speed you are comfortable with and gradually crank it up.
...last yr i had marvellous stamina bcz at that time i was all set to lose weight..but now ...i dont know from where i have come across this nachos with cheese and the quadratini and i am unable to quit all these...my baby has made a big damage to my weighing machine so i dont know where i do stand in fact..have to buy a new one soon :|
i want to lose weight and everytime i log that all on my register and then on the coming weekend its all gone :(...full damage to my diet plan..
^ i was thinking of going for walks during those days instead of going to gym though i read on net that its ok to excercise but ofcourse if you are in pain than you shouldnt do it. tx.
i did my lower back without warming up the body :S how could i forget that :S i think i killed my back, not gona touch back for 2 weeks, prolly do chest today or abs.
u know who really impresses me...this dude in my neighborhood who runs every morning in the ICE cold winters in shorts and his puffy vest. sun, rain, sleet, snow or wind...he is always out...he's 50 but doesnt look a day older than 30!
