No, I will not force her to do anything. But I will do/say whatever I can so that I an not held accountable for her actions.

No where in Islam says I have to force her to wear such and such. I will not be punished for my wife not listening to me. I told her, tried to convince her, I did my part, I'm clean.

I think this answers all your questions.

Will you force hijab on her since that's an Islamic obligation too and you will be held accountable for that as well? If not then what if she insists on wearing a cute knee-legth dress (say with sleeves and not cleavage baring)?

Mine is ok with sleeveless, shorter lengths etc. He isn't desi tho so I guess when he's grown up around girls wearing next to nothing he's bound to be quite relaxed about it..

Most dresses come without sleeves. It restricts options to wear something when they all come without sleeves.

Nope, he wouldn’t let me or at least would ask me not to wear it. I sometimes ask about certain dresses just to see where he stands and he draws the line at butt/chest-hugging things. Shorts are out of the question. Short capris (almost knee-length) are fine, subtle sleeveless, saris w/ baring midriffs and that stuff is fine. **Basically, he just doesn’t want me to wear anything which could cause another man to look at me in a perverted way and I respect that a lot about him.

Oh and I should note, he’s more stricter in islamic/desi communities. So, say we went on our honeymoon in Paris () he’d be fine with me wearing a short dress (no cleavage-baring or thigh-length), he’d not want me to, but if I insisted he’d be “okay” with it.

yup, i think that’s the main reason. My hubby loves curves hugging dresses though I don’t like figure hugging dresses AT ALL. I wear dreses I am comfortable in.

We like to look pretty and feel sexy from time to time. The intent is not to attract other men, trust me. It’s just how we are. Some are okay with exposing more skin while some are not. Besides, most of us like to keep up with the trendy fashion

For me since I follow fashion closely, it’s more so because I love the print/dress silhouette/color etc. Of course even then, I wouldn’t want to wear anything that was too revealing and was on the berge of besheram.

Basically it makes woman feel confident, ofcourse showing more skin means they look more attractive (to majority of the men, not al)Its the way some highschool girls go t school from home and change into mini skirts, they assume they’ll get mre attention that way and fit in. Truth is, u d look better and get attention, but is that the kind of attention you really want?

Not force her. There is no forcing in my religion. I do not believe in hijab if she wants to take hijab it will be her choice.
If she wants to go out half naked I will be disgusted and will let her know . Still it will be her choice , she will go to her grave and I will go to mine . I will not be answerable to Allah for her actions , I will be answerable for my actions and if I forced her to do something against Islamic code of conduct then I will be answerable for her actions too.

Means diffferent things to different people. I don't have to wear a revealing dress to feel sexy. It could be one of those days when I feel really good and want to go out all dolled up. Wearing a nice dress just reflects how I feel. My intention is never to seek attention from other men. I only dress "sexy" when I am going out with hubby and honestly, he likes it. If I looked clumsy, he would make me change into something nice. So it depends...

BTW, I don't wear anything revealing. If I am wearing a dress, I usually wear opaque tights under it and wear a cardigan over a sleevless or strapless dress. I am not comfortable with showing skin but it doesn't mean others aren't.

Feeling sexy = feeling attractive and confident..

Of course ppl have diff definitions of 'revealing,' as someone already pointed out in some ppl's eyes it can be just wearing short sleeves.. I wouldn't associate every short dress with being revealing or sexy.. Sometimes it's just the cut or how form-fitting it is.. Some short dresses can look more cute than sexy imo..

Well by revealing means breasts and butt then no. She can wear sleevless if she wants to..heck even knee lenght skirt. It's all good with me. And as for party dresses she can wear them if we go clubbing together. At the end of the day, no tight skirt, dresses or shalwar kameez.

My wife would live like a queen better than all u paki women (no offence im a paki maself)... why cant you progress by staying in your cultural or islamic boundaries like all progressive nations have done.. Ever wondered why pakistan is in this state! my wife can have all the fantasy's of this world but when she goes out my wish would be that she bees covered in burkha
