I can play and I will play with you smilestar. I also have badminton rackets ... although they are practically as old as I am, they are still in good shape.

well......I've been letting people pick what they want to bring provided it's a staple need.

if someone comes to me saying they're gonna bring chips and salsa when we don't have coal and lighter fluid.....then they will not get to do that. ;)

I play volleyball and badminton, so count me in too.
And I have some rackets that I can bring along.

woops....I forgot to add that Fayz had already committed samosay and since he's coming a little bit later in the afternoon, I accepted thinking that it would be a nice snack with chai at tea-time.

Muzna, how many marinated meats do you need? How many snacks? How many salads? Any other side dishes?

ok guys - read on and add/commit to this post

regarding meat, lets assign ONE person for marinated meat, and lets all pay him/her, otherwise it will be just hectic..
1b. coal, lighter fluid, aag lagaanay ki supplies - pre-taken by shotgun rule: faizy
1c. need volunteer to bring: bbq-handling stuff like poker, knife, tongs, turner etc
sports needs - commitment needed:

volleyball, (net+ball), (desi-angel?) bring your own kneepads ,
bedminton (shuttle, rackets,net) (mehnaz? are u doing that?)

-beach ball - large one .. its DAMN FUN to play beach ball in water.. regardless how dirty (water) it is... (danial? will u be able to?)

-dont beat me up, but i am a BIG fan of quitely sitting down, and chilling.. ludo highly requested, if someone can accomodate that please. need volunteer

snacks -

samosay -pretaken by Fayz
tea (bags) - need volunteer
namakpaaray - need volunteer OR any other snacks
water for tea - thermos? large waterbottles? need volunteer
milk/sugar? - need volunteer

water/juice/pop, i am suggesting everyone bring atleast THEIR supplies, plus some more for added variety, making sure its NOT exceeding their limit to carry it over from parking/bus terminal to ferry, to the beach/grounds.

i will bring a cooler filled with ice so we will put drinks in there, its kinda expensive over there.

cd-boombox, extra batteries to last for whole day - need volunteer

*anything other than bbq chicken, add * as a #item or commit to an existing #please.

faizy i will bring the vollebal/net alont with tea bags..anything else u need me to bring let me know (note: we are using the subway...so something toooo heavy might not be the best :p )

I only have a pair of racquets and birdies. I don’t have a net. We don’t have to have a net though but since desi_angel has it, it will be fine.

My sister is bringing a chick pea salad. I will bring buns/breads for burgers … just need to know how many ppl are coming (can figure out closer to date).
