I made a thread about this in the household affairs but I know not many epople visit there and I bet someone here knows about it.

Anyone familiar with guhnsakhi or puzhraghey?

its a type of food....i've been looking all over for the recipe, but cant find it... hoping some guppies here know what it is...

No. Traditionally married women bought these back to their husbands homes after visiting their maayka so my mom used to make tons of it whenever my sister came to visit and once in a while she made it just for the heck of it. I've been craving it so badly but cant find the recipe, not even in my mom's recipe book :(

we also make somffin like that in our family but i cant recall what ma mah calls it ....

Hmm.. maybe its the same thing...do you have a recipe for it? It has a distinct shape and design right? (usually pressed from wicker baskets)

Ok i got it.. My mom said afghani people call it “kachi”
It is made with flour and sugar syrup…

It is very hard to make yet very simple… My mom makes it during nouroz usually.. :hula:
