yeah. If it ever went that far. But chances are it wont cuz i have a hard time commiting to long term relationships. Thats why my ex and I parted ways. Im a free spirited person. The whole ethnicity thing is not a problem at all. However in terms of religion - it honestly wouldnt bother me if she didnt have a religion and would expect the same from her. How about you?? :) Anyways marriage isnt really for me lol.

How would you get to know her?. I mean you can date as in get to know for marriage right?. I.e, talk to her about her life, what she is like etc?.

Well I'm already married. The way I really did it was that I had a talk with her before we finalized the rishta. I wouldn't call it a date.

Dating is NOT permissable in Islam...so, my answer is a NO...if she converts to Islam on her own FREE will, i will NOT hesitate to marry her. :)

if you work together, you can always talk 'within limits' and if you find her to be the kind of woman you would like to marry then take it up from there...simple! you do NOT have to date someone to know her/him.

I dated a women who was non muslim AND from a different country/of different ethnicity for four years. So yes I would date a non muslim from the same culture as my own.

PQ: STA personally disapproves date thing. He believes if prospective spouses are serious and intended to marry then it is ok to fix a date, but he doesnt like fun(fazool) date.
Islam allows to select a woman from people of book.
