Govt provided faulty jammers: Benazir (26th Dec)

Re: Govt provided faulty jammers: Benazir (26th Dec)

Sorry. Was gonna write “Bhutto” instead of “PPP” but would have been a cruel pun.

Re: Govt provided faulty jammers: Benazir (26th Dec)

Then Musharraf must be the bravest leader in the history of Pakistan considering how long he has been in power, how much jihadis hate him, and the number of assassination attempts against him.

Re: Govt provided faulty jammers: Benazir (26th Dec)

Let them think whatever they want. The funny thing is, they are so confused, in another thread, this one Mush supporter (who isnt very smart either) called me a Nawaz Sharif PML[N] supporter and here I am being termed as a PPP die hard supporter because I posted something Benazir talked about a day before she died, which points a big fat finger to the Govt's role in this whole mess.

Re: Govt provided faulty jammers: Benazir (26th Dec)

I don't care about the other poster in some other thread but in the context of this thread, you have let known your support for Bhutto . In all honesty, I don't roam around this board very often so political affiliations of various posters are unknown to me...however, once again, in the context of this thread, the bias is quite obvious (either that or you've played quite a trick on all of us).

Re: Govt provided faulty jammers: Benazir (26th Dec)

Safety jammers can only work on RF/cellular controlled devices. How can anything disable a SIMPLE SWITCH in hands of a suicide bomber! I am sorry to say but only KIT from Knight Rider had that capability.

Re: Govt provided faulty jammers: Benazir (26th Dec)

I dare you to post one single post here from this thread, that shows I am a 'die hard supporter' of Benazir. Honestly, all I did was post what Benazir said on the 26th, and I certainly didnt make it up. You on the other hand got enraged and offended because its basically pointing a finger towards Musharraf and his government. Even a thug like Altaf Hussain said that there are 'khoofiya agencies' at play here. If the Government can order the murder of political workers on May 2007, this is something thats certainly on the cards, especially considering how their election campaign was coming along.

Re: Govt provided faulty jammers: Benazir (26th Dec)

He was a leader... Now he is a dictator. Big difference.
The fact that he now hides in the presidential palace and wouldnt walk two feet outside among the people, shows how great a leader he is.

Benazir insisted on being among the people, despite the threat...
See the difference?

But still, im anxiously waiting for Altaf bhai to gather the courage to return and lead the country!

Re: Govt provided faulty jammers: Benazir (26th Dec)

Well the mere fact that you are taking her allegations as some sort of undeniable truth suggests a bias. Those jammers may or may not be faulty. But to believe they are faulty just because Bhutto made those accusations is ridiculous. Secondly, the entire rant about her being the leader of the biggest political party in Pakistan and threat to the regime's existence is another example. Not to mention the fact that you're assuming she was going to win the elections, no doubt.

And to suggest that I got offended because this allegation is the smoking gun linking the government to her assassination would be ridiculous. This allegation does nothing of that sort. At best, its a conspiracy theory that suggests passive complacency.

Re: Govt provided faulty jammers: Benazir (26th Dec)

Ok, then Sherpao is the greatest leader Pakistan has ever seen by your reasoning.

Re: Govt provided faulty jammers: Benazir (26th Dec)

When people say government wanted her dead or did not protect her - I don't know what they mean by government.

Pakistan govt at this point and for the past several years has been completely overrun by the various parts of the army, the intelligent services and even some of the religious cabals. There are hundreds of officials with sufficient money and affluence that could have and probably did this.

Yes Musharaf holds key responsibility for letting the government get that way and rule of law fall apart.

But a number of other problems led to Musharaf getting to that position of power.

This buck doesn't seem to stop anywhere...keeps going and going endlessly.

40 suicide bombings and 1000's dead just this year. what a country

Re: Govt provided faulty jammers: Benazir (26th Dec)

What make you think shes lying? And the fact that she died the next day because of lapses in security on the part of the government makes it obvious she wasnt lying.

Come on, who else is going to win the elections. Whether you are or not a PPP supporter, everyone knows that the PPP is the most popular party in Pakistan, and pleaes dont give me that crap that its Musharraf, because people hate him.

Yeah, everyones pointing a finger at the Government. Even top critics of Benazir are doing so. Just wait and see.

Re: Govt provided faulty jammers: Benazir (26th Dec)

It is quite easy to determine if a jammer works or not. It does not require any specialized equipment.

The govt's negligence in the protection of opposition leaders cannot be defended.

But it is premature to blame anyone for the attack.

Re: Govt provided faulty jammers: Benazir (26th Dec)

When she got attacked in Karachi, party membran said that she was saved because of her PPP security. But when she got attacked and killed in Pindi, it's the govn't fault.

The govnt should have just banned large public rallies.

Re: Govt provided faulty jammers: Benazir (26th Dec)

They are, because it is their hobby to cultivate conspiracy theories. Why would the govnt be involved in her death? I though we were told by the free media that the polls were already rigged in PML-Q's favour.

Re: Govt provided faulty jammers: Benazir (26th Dec)

And if She had a faulty Moon Roof in her Limosine, a roof that would not open…She would still be alive…:halo:

It is quite clear her Security Personnel were at Fault for allowing her to stand up thru the Roof…let us put the blame where it belongs…

The channel reported that most of the PML-Q local and national leaders switched off their cell phones and were being reported as being ‘not at home’ on their landline numbers. daily times monitor

Re: Govt provided faulty jammers: Benazir (26th Dec)

most of us in UK already pointing the figure at pakistan's government on wot happen today even nawaz sharif said on star news that musharaf is to blame for this.

Re: Govt provided faulty jammers: Benazir (26th Dec)

I disagree, they both shared same views about irreligious fanatics and modernisation. Note it, I am no a supporter of Musharraf but IMO after PPP only HE had so much to loose from this incident.
